Pretty smart of them to list them like this... listing the new characters by vehicle rather than by character, so as not to give away too much. I want to see what the Cyberverse Commanders are like. Sounds promising. Some interesting names on that list. Guzzle FTW.
^ Google doesn't seem to return it as an existing model of armored truck. Still not a bad guess. Well, I'd say the biggest surprise on the list is the continuation of PCCs straight on through the year. I guess that should answer the people who insist that they sell extremely poorly. Kinda looking forward to Whirl + Sparkplug if it's a new mold designed to evoke Whirl. I don't need it to be super accurate, just a decent stab (even getting the robot head would be a better homage than Huffer). Also enjoying the Spike, Cahnay, and Sparkplug references, although it's sobering to think of those characters as being modified into contortionist Minicons! And an actual "Dragstrip" at that...maybe I should hold off on Over-Run. I'm very pleased that they are expanding the Cyberverse line with characters who are (apparently) not movie characters but homages to previous "small-scale" figures from Transformers history, such as Guzzle and Powerglide. Personally I'd be quite tickled by a movie version of Powerglide that is a licensed (or at least decent with a realistic paint job) A-10, a la the first film's attack sequence. Actually between this and the PCCs Hasbro seems to be throwing a lot into the Toys Formerly Known As Scouts. HA Soundwave: probably a ground vehicle mode with Laserbeak. If that Deluxe is also Laserbeak I'm going to have an incredibly hard time deciding which combination of Soundwave and Laserbeak to buy. I still don't get why they are calling Shockwave "villain" considering that the first solid bit of info on TF3 was Shockwave, and it was in major media outlets. It seems like Hasbro is officially swearing off making any character exclusively available in Leader size. Which is a good policy IMO. A Voyager Jetfire would have been wicked. Oh yeah, Thundercracker! I really like movie (comic) Thundercracker but hate his toy. I hope it's bare minimum a retool of Starscream, not just blue Starscream.
too many pages to read thru whilst at work...but who is supposed to be the human companion to the 'human' alliance soundwave?
TRANS THUNDERCRACKE (UPC 65356959173) DRAGSTRP DISAST (UPC 65356960550) Interesting. TRAN MV3 VOY VILLAI (UPC 65356959142) It's safe to say this is Shockwave, but why the no name? Shockwave's announcement made national news as the villain.
guzzle? powerglide? thundercracker? blackout? HA SOUNDWAVE?! this is going to be a great year for TFs. the PCC listings are real intriguing too.
Looking at these listings and what we know from the UK Toyfair Cyberverse looks something like this at a guess... Legion Sized (Legends) figs for Baricade Skids Bumblebee x2 (two different car modes in film?) Sideswipe Soundwave Ratchet Mudflap Starscream "Euro Car" (???) "Enforcer" x2 (with different UPCs I'd guess placeholders for the two different Con "Dreds" we've seen) "Sponser Car" x2 (listed twice as placehoders for two Wreckers?) "APC" (??? No idea) Commander Sized (Scout or a bit smaller with accessories) figs for Optimus Prime listed x2 Ironhide Megatron Blackout Powerglide Guzzle "Enforcer" "Fire Truck" listed x2 Action Sets (Connectable Playset/Vehicles with Legion or Commander figs) Starscream with Orbital ??? Bumblebee with Bunker vehicle Megatron with BlastW??? Optimus with Platform Ratchet with Crawler Shockwave with Fusion??? and Lastly the Giant Electronic ARK Playset. with ??? figure.
Ah, that would actually make sense, seeing as how there aren't any "small Human Alliance" listed here. So maybe our headline is wrong. Zobovor did say that he was only guessing based on pricepoint.
He's referring to these: TRA STARSCREAM ORBT (UPC 65356958915) TRA BUMBLEBEE BUNKE (UPC 65356958916) TRA MEGATRON BLSTWA (UPC 65356959348) TRA OPTIMUS PLATFOR (UPC 65356959349) TRA RATCHET CRAWLER (UPC 65356960024) TRA VILLAIN W FUSIO (UPC 65356960023) Which can be found at the link given in the first post, but aren't on the front page news for some reason. Personally I think I'll be getting all of these sets, as the extra vehicle/weapon thingy that each one of them comes with are supposed to combine to form something bigger. So far there's already 13 Cyberverse figures/sets on my to-get list, and I can already imagine more being added to that, lol.
