Quick question. With all the upgrade parts added does the combined figure stay in poses? I'm asking because the perfect effect upgrade is kinda floppy.

 

Looking closer at Unem's photos.. I can definitely see the different shades of blue there. Hoping the THC-02J shipped directly from China will be close to the Unite warrior version of blue and less combiner wars.

 

Truly helpful, but the ones I'm currently seeing for sale on eBay for Victorion (THC-03) are an orange color? Perhaps they're using prototypes in their pics? Or was this color to give a more 'rust' appearance?

I must admit, I NEVER combined my Victorion set, but rather gave them oversized weapons and placed them above my ~17" gestalts, poised to assist the combiner hunter fembots; however this set increasing their height in combined form is tempting, especially with the current 10% eBay eBucks going on right now. It is odd (at least to me) to spend as much or more on add-one than for the set itself. Then I wonder if the CW and/or UW version of Victorion is in anyone's queue to oversize (and potentially include a KO'd version of this add on kit).

Anyways, does anyone have pics of this assembled add-on kit compared with a CW/UW devastator? Thus far I've only seen it compared to gestalts I don't have (but then again, I've only checked on ~5 pages of this thread thus far).

 

Hi Sorry for the late reply. The combined figure is pretty stable. The joints of the base figures aren't fantastic though, so while they hold the weight of the parts to a certain extent, I'm not sure if they will wear down over time.

Just saw a post from a Chinese player complaining about the weak joint for this set, according to him the gears inside the thighs are too small and weak, after a few pose it loose and caused the legs fall off the body.

Can you fiddle with it to see if Legends Groove can fit on the chest? I don't understand how people are pulling it off in the recent pics.

Damn, those fireball cannons are correctly sized ... but for Bruticus's huge-ass back cannons!

Other than that it looks surprisingly decent except for the pinhead again.

As for legends Groove/Rust Dust ... I bet you he/she's just blutacked onto the Defensor/Victorion chestplate lol

[Edit] The more I look at the Frankenbash with UW Bruticus and the other upgrade kit and the C Custom parts, the more I like it. Great potential there; I really hope C Custom does some remoulding to the cannons and feet, and creates a new Bruticus head and chest shield, and voila! An upgraded Bruticus to match the upgraded Defensor!

I almost freaked at the Victorian picture on the box. I was like, "they sent me the wrong damn ver... oh .." turns the box over.
I get why this was so expensive.
I like.

 

Would really just want the leg parts for Victorion. Keeping the narrow shoulders while extending the thighs does wonders for her proportions.

 

Just saw another player has the same issue on the leg.
I will wait a little big longer before make the decision to buy, who knows, maybe C+ will release a fix version.

I'm seeing these sets go for $65 to $70 from trusted Chinese sellers on eBay. Cancelled my preorder from Tony (he's charging $28 for shipping on top of $74) and ordered one from there instead. Hope to get my upgraded Victorion soon!

 

Yeah, I didn't order from Tony for a while too, his price is on the high end compare to the trusted ebay sellers, mostly because of the shipping charges.

 

It's a shame too because I know Tony's a nice guy.
