I had actually just made a topic about it, but I guess I'll post it here too. Sunstreaker's arms like to pop off the pegs connecting to the shoulder if they're turned and swiveled about. Very annoying. I'd love to know a fix for this. It's really the only thing preventing me from enjoying him fully (that and his supercharged gun being so hard to form!)

I've only done so minor Paint apps that were missing on Sunstreaker (He needed Chrome Paint)

Prowl's missile Launchers painted as well.

Tankor's Emergency lights (In truck mode on top of cab) and sliver painted the Claw weapon to match the sliver on the base.

Only thing I've done is clear-coat the transparent parts on Prowl to counteract sticky paint problems.

... and painted the ends of the shoulder guns metallic gray.

I've added some black to Prowl, to take care of all the visible white where his pieces come together. I need to touch up some of his white paint, where it's gone soft and sticky like overhandled model enamel paint, I want to paint his turtleneck white, and I'll be giving his vehicle mode some much needed gloss clear coat.

So far these are terrific figures. The only thing I wish I could change is the length of Octane's wings. I know how the designers could have done it, but I don't have the skill to do it myself. I'm hoping Tamo or Redline will come up with something fantastical that I can copy or commission.

I've heard the problem was corrected in a running change, so (hopefully) you got a good one. Good thing too, because if Prowl's paint got tacky and nasty through normal handling from careful adult fans, what chance does a fumbly kid who loves peanut butter & jelly sandwiches have? :)

I forgot, I also took a black Sharpie marker to the edges of the black area of the car front/chest, to knock out the little white 'cracks' between parts.

Mine does not have the sticky problems. It is just missing some paint in some places but they are very small. I will probably find some small bottles of paint to fix the problem.

odd, it shows this thread is 2 pages, and yet every time I try to go to page two, it redirects back to page one. either way, my prowl has the sticky paint problem. Also, my sunstreakers right arms seem just slightly loose, but nothing too horrible. Great idea for prowls white lines in the black though, I'll have to get out my sharpie's too. Octankor so far has to be my favorite. He's just fun.

How long does it take for it to dry? I've heard of people doing this, and did not think it was a permanent fix. Is it? How well does it match to his factory paint app? Can you show a pic?

Not really a QC issue but I found a better place for Octane's guns in semi mode as they looked rather lame on his back end.

Now they look like smoke stacks.

Modification for Universe Powerglider, reposted from my review thread on him, regarding his hips.
As they are, Powerglide can either stand with his legs right up close together or way too wide apart. This can be fixed thus:
Powerglide's hip joints are ratchet joints. remove the first notch on the bottom of each ratchet, and you give him a lot more posability. The hip joints are tight enough to let him stand with no problems.

Just crap door/roof paint on Prowl, If the henkie version has better paint then I might be tempted to get it even though I don't like where the chrome was placed.

the winch mod is in radicons but i would not recommend it until you read it.

octane required some stretching and remolding of the plastic(the octane feedback thread has a step by step)

or pm me for the info
