It looks like the KO manufactures will be given an opportunity the robin hoods of TF collectors!!

 

There really isn't a need for KO's of these guys. They're readily available in translucent colors everywhere.

 

I agree that the price is/was ridiculous...but...

...they all sold out, so you can't argue that BBTS was justified in charging what it did for them. Sucks but true.

 

They are free with 3,000 Yen (about $35) purchase of United.

If they get them. This isn't something they can order, they have to have someone go to those 3 stores in Japan (which RK is not located in) and buy 3,000 Yen worth of United products on those specific days.

Not the easiest thing to do for people living in Japan, never mind outside of it.

That is pretty amusing.

Chainclaw actually is the only one of those (that I can tell, anyway) that actually has a pretty decent gun mode, but that's because of the peg on his back. Caliburst has those pegs on his heels, but... well, I've actually got him right here, let's see how well that works. Sorry, crappy cell phone pic:

They look silly because these guys weren't designed to be Targetmasters. They were designed to have at least four modes.

Im guessing either they listed like 50 sets topps, or a couple-few people preordered ALL of them. Just watch them appear again as the possible release nears.
