i think this one is the best yet i am just waiting for a one where they show more transform instead of a 1 second but a full transform.....god damn i already know i am going to love this movie

 

I...didn't like it. Prime didn't sound right and he looks odd. What little action we did see just seemed a bit stale to me too. Maybe my expectations are too high, but nothing I've seen has really psyched me up.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still go see it...previews are a terrible way to judge a movie and I'm still adjusting to the changes they made. I'm sure, if I can disconnect my nostalgia, I'll be able to enjoy it more. It just isn't doing it for me right now.

 

Just got to see the trailer (Thanks Galvatron397, you're awesome  ) and i gotta say, it was fan-freaking-tastic. This movie is gonna be one HELL of a sight.

Though I will agree that the whole 'in yo face' intro thing was a bit much, I will have to disagree with the comment that most bots have faceplates. Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Megs, Barricade, Bonecrusher, Blackout and Prime all have very clear mouths with Starscream and Brawl being high 'maybes'. They do all have face plates in some way though, but those are their 'battle masks' which flip off and on through out the film. Though if Prime kept the mask up the entire time, you'd have no complaints from me.

yeah i hear ya. sounded way too wierd. probably had something to do with the sound quality though.

 

The prime lips thing is kinda weird, not going to ruin it for me though. As for the video/audio quality, that video came from YouTube afterall, don't expect it to sound better.

Although hearing Prime speak, it's going to make the theater speakers BOOM!

 

Awesome trailer. Prime having lips will take some getting use to, but whatever. The CGI is fantastic nonetheless, it's just spectacular. CGI in films are going to have some very high standards after this. I wonder how final the trailer is, given it still has "The Property of Dreamwave/Paramount" stamped on it through-out.

And Starscream is holding like a sword. It could just be a street lamp, but KICK ASS.

Hey! Anyone notice that Barricade had that "In your face" approach to Spike too? Maybe Barricade wants to be friends also  

 

I was thinking about that whole "Prime in your face" thing that has been mentioned. I don't think he's introducing himself in that part of the scene - what I mean is, they dubbed him saying "My name is Optimus Prime" over that scene.
This is often done in trailers, dubbing something over a scene like this, though it won't appear that way in the movie.
