I'm sure I've said it before but I will say I again, there is going to be so much Transformers crap saturating discount bins and yard sales or the next few years, at least, it won't even be funny. I still see Jurassic Park stuff gathering dust on store shelves all over the place.

I understand the desire for Hasbro to ride the crest of this retail tidal wave but by the end of the year it'll have crashed into the shore leaving vast swaths of retail space and kids bedrooms littered with the detritus of this film.

Is there really a need for this much stuff and so much of it blatanly irrelevant?
