    The Fall Toy Show has wrapped up at the Jacob Javits Center in NY. Playthings.com has an article talking about the show. In the write-up of the movie merchandise coming, they had this to say:

    Unfortunately no images have surfaced from the event. The full story can be found Here.

    Communicators = awesome.

    Also, there is going to be so much tacky merchandise associated with this film. No shortage of things to buy next July.

    It's funny that this got reported today. They were just here at work, actually most of the stuff is probably still in the conference room, pitching all of this stuff. Some of it really looks amazing. Will be great for kids. Imagine all of the cross-promotional stuff done for the Star Wars movies but with Transformers. They also had an image of Bumblebee where his head was signifigantly modified from what we have seen, much better in my opinion.

    While I was in there someone actually asked how much of an adult fan base they could count on to purchase product. I quoted Brian Savage's estimate that he told me of 10k - 12k people.

    One of the coolest things, that wasn't mentioned above, were plans for limited edition cel-phones. They showed fairly generic looking cel-phones with various movie graphics on them. I asked what electronics brand they would be using and said that was still undecided. I am now putting off upgrading my phone in hopes that Cingular will be getting them.

    It's like 84-85 again! I just hope everything isn't based on the new Movie. I wouldn't mind seeng Transformers products similar to the 84-85 ones. I'm also more interested to see what happens to the Transformers after the new Movie lands on DVD.

    I really hope the communicators will have voice modulators.

    I've been looking for a Soundwave-type harmonizer for a long time.
