The fact that it says Nevada makes me think this'll be a TF: P prequel. I'm just spitballin' here though...

I'm a HUGE Transformers: Prime fan. I'd love to see a prequel Live Action Movie Series based on Transformers: Prime. After all... after the MB movie series, TFP will automatically become the major series of the franchise. :)

Sounds very interesting. I'm definitely interested in picking this novel series up, even if it is targeted to young adults.

I'm so betting this is using the same 400-page story bible as the WFC games, Alex Irvine's Ex-novels, the Hall of Fame bios and TF: Prime.

Finally we get a Transformers novel series! I always enjoyed the expanded universe from the numerous Star Wars novels and I hope they do the same thing for Transformers.

Yes. I was dissapointed that we didn't get a prequel novel to Dark of the Moon this might make up for that.

I'm calling it now, this is gonna be the next Transformers movie. I think Hasbro is releasing it as a book to gauge people's reaction to it.

    Maybe.

I just think they are expanding their media from comics (which are great) to a more accessible form of storytelling. (not everyone has access to a comic shop, but places that sell books are a dime a dozen)

Yeah, but they weren't the first. My guess'd be Optimus and Ratchet/Bumblebee are the first to arrive, since Bulky left to join Optimus who was already on Earth.

I believe Bulkhead had originally left the Wreckers during the war on Cybertron itself. Hence his absence in the battle of Darkmount. So I reckon he arrived with Optimus and Ratchet (the Prime website states Bumblebee arrived first just like the film) and after Arcee and Cliffjumper's arrival he did that dance in the electrical wire.

The bible is only holding true for the show. The game and novels are separate. It has been stated they are the 'basis' of the new continuity, but it seems they are not part of the new continuity, strangely enough. Its a damn shame, High Moon Studios was able to tell a great story. Hopefully WFC 2 can take place in their own video game continuity instead of trying to painfully insert it into the Prime continuity.

    Agreed.

I wonder who made the mess by trying to connect everything with every other thing?

    The way I see it...

    Transformers Movie Continuity - Separate
    Transformers: Prime - Separate
    War For Cybertron - Separate
    Novels - Separate

It was Aaron Archer that made that claim, I believe. And, unfortunately, if Hasbro states it follows the same continuity, then it follows the same continuity. However, Aaron Archer did state that "Everything will make sense later on" with all the contradictions. Let's see if they stay true to that.
