I'll pay 50 bucks in a second if it'd include Macromasters.

Agreed...I had no idea who Don was when I surfed around and read that story. It nearly blew my brains out. If I have the money I'll be all over getting the Don book.

I remember back in the 98 when I fired up my Prodigy internet and the first Transformer's fan site I saw was Don's Macromasters. I was blown away by not only his artwork, but his continuing the continuity (Dr. Archeville's descendant!), and his kitbashes (I had no idea of what a kitbash was at the time).

Then, I started seeing his fan art on sites like this. Later his work at Dreamwave which stood out among a roster of talent, and apparently he now designs for Hasbro.

I would gladly pay $50 for a book of his art. I feel like I know the guy.

Don has to be hands down the best TF artist in the past 20 years of the franchise. IMO anyway. Coming from an art school background (but never actually do it for a living), you can appreciate a talented artist.

Even if you don't have that kind of background, people know talent when they see it. I'd gladly pay $150 for the book.

Not that I want to give them any ideas.....

This, and the animation models book, will be mine. Even if I have to sell organs to get them.

    *didn't mention whose organs*

Alan Dean Foster has made a career out of novel adaptions of big sci-fi properties like Star cTrek & Star Wars. (Star wars: Splinter of the Mind's Eye being the most popular.) Hopefully the TF adaption listed by Amazon isn't being confused with M.A. Foster's book titled "Transformer" that came out in 1983.

M.A. Foster's entire Transformer trilogy was recently reprinted.

I'll buy the Don book if it's got enough in it, but I can't pay that much for a small number of pages. I'm sure it can be gotten on sale at some point time down the line.
