Premium painted box is bought on sight. It looks to have the best prime yet. No box set for the cons? Breakout set looks good as well. Might end up with having 4 or 5 evasion primes and... I'm ok with that...  

Given up on looking for hasbro releases of MPs, but will pick prowl up if by stupid luck I run across him. Sunstorm... just no.

Kind of apathetic towards jet fire. I was actually looking forward to him too.

Hopefully they release soon (yeah right) as I have a bunch of pvc stuff preordered the next few months and don't want to get hammered.

You know what? I like them. The upgraded Bumblebee is much better looking than I previously thought. The rusty Optimus Prime looks very much alright, and the SUV's aren't bad looking at all. Drift's paint apps are improved, and looking Prime. The Optimus Prime and Grimlock two-pack looks... okay, but I won''t be getting it. I already have Voyager Grimlock, which I prefer, and I'd definitely rather get the regular Leader Class Optimus Prime.

 

Yeah, I wanna know what that is too.

 

Returning toys raises toy prices for everyone and it's not nice if someone else is on the recieving end of someone elses second hand toys either. (depending on if the store puts them out again or bins them). It mght not be so bad if they donated returned toys to the local childrens hospital - Max Keiser seems to think walmart fiddles it's shrinkage figures to use said scam to up it's share price and make false insurance claims I guess a few returned toys is chump change for them and might even be helpful to them in an odd way.

I was never going to buy the single packs as soon as I saw the then and now sets and the multi pack and green leader Grimlock and better decorated Optimus all look like better buys to me.

 

It's probably the SDCC Dinobots 4-pack.

 

Ok, didn't see these box sets coming. These look like proper collectors' stuff that I'd really love to have. Looks like as far the the Autobots go maybe I'll just hang on and maybe get HO Bumblebee separately.

 

Doubtful. All it says is "Grimlock".

 

Perhaps the reasoning is that it's such a limited run it was not worth re-safety testing it. So they mark it as an adult collectable and they don't have to.

What the heck is with grimlock's colors??? It has blue, green, and brown. The takara leader crushes this one. Leader prime looks really cool, though.

 

It's made to look like his ACTUAL on screen colors. Takara didn't get anything right. On screen, Grimlock has patches of rust and moss, which is the reason for the brown and green. The blue, perhaps it's meant to represent light reflecting? IDK what the blue is for.

 

All of these look pretty good to me.

I'm curious if that 5 pack looks all that different from regular releases (other than subtle color changes) - also, who the heck are getting these? TRU? I hope it's TRU, cause they at least provide coupons from time to time...

Yeah, those Grimlock colors don't look movie accurate.... but then again, we haven't seen the movie??

 

Grimlock is green in the Movie why shouldn't the toy be green - makes more sense than Copper coloured does.

 

They so need to do HO Bumblebee vs Stinger in a box too.

Plus all the on screen Dinobots, in screen accurate decos.

Poor Lockdown and Galvatron don't really get to go with anyone do they?

 

That Drift actually looks really good. From what I can see, he looks a lot closer to the actual car's colors, right down to the painted rims:
