Man, my collection looks really small now. I have all the american toys from Seasons 1-4 (x2 for most characters), and a few from Seasons 5 & 6. But this collection is a completist's dream... Good Work!

I'm working on my Beast Wars toys and, hopefully, will have some time soon to take some photos of my entire TF collection for showcasing.

    Thanks.

I have every U.S. Transformer. I would like to buy the Jap and European Exclusives some day, but I have a hard enough time just keeping up with the U.S. Hasbro ones.

Wow. All I can say is wow. Do you ever see someone else's collection and it makes yours feel small and insignificant? I have 2 bookshelves (rather large, 9 feet tall, 6 feet wide, 2 feet deep, 7 shelves each) that holds my ENTIRE collection of Transformers. I will now go home tonight and weep openly about my tiny collection. And just yesterday I got a bunch of it all set up (I just moved into my house) and was all happy about it until I saw this.

    BW_Rhinox...you are the man!!! :rock

here are a couple of very practical questions:
1 - what do you do for a living that you can afford this wonderful collection
2 - what is your main source of getting the older figures (ebay)?
3 - Do you have insurance on your collection? If so, what method did you use to obtain it?

I don't have any imports, so the collections with the imports really wow me.

    1. I am a Software Engineer and my wife is an RN. We make a descent salary.
    2. I have bought some stuff on ebay, but the majority of them I bought when they came out. I have been collecting them since I was 13 (1984).
    3. They are insured though my homeowner's policy.

so you have the g2 protectobots? ;)
So how many transformers has hasbro released since its inception?
You must have had parents who let you get whatever you got if you were able to buy every transformer released in 86 and 87 when they released around 100 a year. (where did the money come from then?)

Finally, do you have any dust issues keeping them out in the basement like this?

Yay. I voted for this collection to be the next featured one. Congrats bw_rhinox! I am quite jealous of all your stuff. It definitely makes my collection look puny and pathetic.
