I was planning on getting them all anyway, and Strafe will stay in package unless an upgrade kit updates his head.

That's all fine, but the blue cab with the angled windows is off to me. I'll probably still snag it for a faceoff against Classics tank Megatron.

 

Agreed that Grappel/le/el/le's bio is pretty depressing. Bumblebee has a one of those bio's that could have just read "He's awesome! You should buy his toy!" and said essentially the same thing. I feel the bio for Optimus make a good callback to the G2 era (most of Optimus' bios from then involved something happening to him so he gets a new/different body.)

 

*reads bio of strafe* now i MUST own this toy for that glorious bio

 

Something tells me the bio writers lose a bit of enthusiasm when tasked with creating yet another Bumblebee, Prime, Megatron, or Starscream bio. I'm waiting for one of these days when the bio simply reads "Yeah, look, this is Bumblebee. You know the drill."

 

Awesome I don't see any orange on the tip of Legends Megatron! I hope this is what it'll actually look like for the final!   The rest of the images look great too!

Is it me, or does it really undermine the whole "Reveal the Shield" gimmick if the bios spell out the toys' alignments in all-caps?

 

the symbol of each alliance on the back of the card gives it away before the bio does

 

Wow if BB is so stuff he might wanna pack himself a blaster.... Hell a club, a rock or anything for that matter.

 

The Reveal The Shield is just a name for the rub-sign gimmick. It only extends to the front of the packaging.

 

This is how most European bios read. Because they have to fit so many languages onto the cards, the bios get slimmed down to one or two sentences.  

Bumblebee's bio definitely is really generic. I don't mind..the others are great.

 

Totally. It's down to one sentence fragment at the moment. Usually something like "Starscream plans to ambush Optimus Prime the moment he goes out alone", which was Leader Starscream.

Is it just me, or does Optimus' bio basically acknowledge "Yeah, we know... he dies a lot!".  

I know! It's the same in Canada. The bios are literally down to one short sentence per character. It's sad.  

On the other hand, just one less reason for me to fuss about keeping the packaging.
