    Really? I thought it was a Nintendo 'in-joke', as its one of the Event Matches on Super Smash Bros Melee, battle 128 Tiny Marios in the same style as the 100 man Melee.etc

    OK, I am well aware that there is no real Super Mario 128 (even if others did not) right now, but it was perhaps intended to be the sequel, and it's a lot better than saying Super Mario 64 2. I'd have hoped it gets the point across! Savvy? :thumb

    He did, once or twice. Not sure how long that offer's good though. Companies and their reps are often more willing to tell us what's coming than what's been cancelled. Given that it's been 5 years since this story first surfaced, I'd say Mario 128 is done.

    There is no Mario 128. In fact, Miyamoto recently made some comment along the lines of we played Mario 128 when we played Pikmin 2.

    In any case, I'm surprised to see hate on this game. It looks outstanding.

    This looks like one of those games that my wife would get into and not stop playing. (She made me play MK:Armmagadeon for 9hrs straight once, start to finish)
