This is my first 3D Model, I used Tinkercad, and I want to know what you guys think. I haven't got Galvatron as of yet, but have used measurements of Nucleon to create a new head for him. I am only 15 years old and learning. Enjoy!!!

    UPDATE:

I checked Shapeways and it costs $3.79. I checked the thickness and it should print fine. I do not own a 3D printer so I cannot reassure this, but please check it out. The model is not perfect and also needs customizing. Hope you guys like it.

Here's my shop to start your orders.

    UPDATE:

I'm going to do a mark up of $1.00 making the product cost about $5.00. Sorry.

    UPDATE:

Head is now less squished as per request.

UPDATE: Sorry for all the Updates

Face is now slimmer, mouth was moved up, eyes are smaller, overall head is smaller, nose is smaller, and less blocky/no weird eyebags. There is still a lot to fix but I believe it's fine now.

It was really hard to make my sketch come to life in 3D but I like it's result and development.

Thread that will help coincide with this head (Lol it rhymed)

Heavy/Scratch: - Behold, (yet another) Galvatron

I found this one to be the easiest/most affordable to do.

Looks nice! I like the grimace.

You might want to have a version available in Frosted Detail or Ultra FD. Shapeways heads tend to look best in that material and people are usually willing to pay the increase in cost.

Can you stretch the head up a bit? He seems a bit squished. Otherwise, I think it's great!

It's a bit broad. Should be more slender.

Eyes and mouth need to be smaller and nose lower. Also facial structure is too squarish.

    Thanks for considering it!

Thanks man! With patience you can!

Yeah I know I was quite limited on Tinkercad and was getting very frustrated but thanks for the advice.

Does it fold down into the cavity? It's one of the main things I want from a Galvatron head.

I haven't tested it out yet but once I get my print from my aunt and get a Galvatron fig I will. I'm relatively broke so it will be hard to but I'll post it once I do.

This is actually my first Tinkercad Build as well. I learned that manipulating the hole option and workspace helped out carving spaces you don't want. I worked on the lower face first, using only one half of it, then worked up towards the eyes. Utilizing copy/paste and duplicating worked wonders. Once I had two symmetrical halfs I created a shape for the outline of the mouth, then turned the shape into a hole and placed it where I wanted. Lastly I made the helmet. Hope this helps out.

Also make sure you sketch out your idea and take a pic of it. Place this in a image tab next to your build tab (Your screen should be half Tinkercad and half sketch). Sorry for the long post.

I started 3D modeling with Tinkercad and I can't recommend it. If you ever import one of your models into Blender for any kind of adjustments, you'll see how messy TC models really are. It creates tons of duplicate vertices and overlapping faces that need manual removal, which can take over an hour of your time even if you know what you're doing. Blender's boolean tool is unreliable, but you'll produce much more precise models by learning to use it or another advanced 3D modeling software.

No prob, thank you for checking this out :) . The TR Galvatron Head didn't really scream Galvatron to me. I think they made the crest too bug like (It's probably the chinstrap).
