I'm kinda disappointed with Prime and Bee. We already have them. I'd like someone who actually is armed to the teeth like Brawl or Warpath.

Magnus is interesting. I'll definatly look at some pics.

I don't see how that list is at all interesting. Sorry.

This continues to be a singularly uninteresting size class to me. Ultra Magnus isn't necessarily going to be in the show, they just need another mega-popular Autobot to give big guns to.

Prime I can understand, what with
    his redesign
, and I guess Ultra Magnus getting a toy of his own in this scale means he'll be important to season three, but another Bumblebee? I was kinda hoping we would at least see one Decepticon in this scale at some point...oh well.

Except Hasbro has an unspoken policy of toy-only characters not getting anything above voyager...

I thought that if he's in the TV show or not the idea is that Bumblebee is just a Christmas toy and as such can be seen for 7 year olds and Bumblebee collectors. the Optimus is actually a potential default Optimus - especially if they pull their finger out and make Megatron too.

Magnus might be suitable to either fill in for Optimus while he's rubble snoozing or to fight Predaking while Optimus fights Megatron... or if you prefer Predaking is so dangerous it takes two big Autobots to take him on.

The suggestion doing the rounds is that the larger of the 3 Predaking toys is a unique size or even a Super or Supreme scale toy retailing for say $50.00.

I'm not terribly interested in the Weaponizer size class, or the uber-spiky Beast Hunters aesthetic, so can't see getting excited about any of these three figures. But it does seem increasingly likely that Magnus could turn up on the series, so I've preordered the current Voyager figure, just to have a version of the character.

The idea that they already just had a Bumblee+Optimus Weaponizer out and are releasing now, straight after, another Bumblee+Optimus Weaponizer just with even more armor, because the one you just bought didn't have enough, is really zzzzzzzzzzzzz not to mention quite insulting to people who just bought the first one. Not really a way to grow your market is it? They also have this armored Bee+Optimus in both CV and RiD...

Talk about over saturation. If i'm a parent i'm thinking what's the point of even buying any of these, i'd be sick of the sight of these characters and there constant rehashes and gimmicks. Even my 80's child self can tell how naff it all is (not just my concerning grumpy grown up self).

Hasbro: "so what do you think guys you like it?"
    Audience: *silence*

Unless they release a weaponizer Megatron, which would give me a reason to get Prime, these are all passes for me. I can't really justify the price point on an oversized Bee, and there really is no reason to get Prime unless they release a Megatron too. I will be interested to see what Magnus looks like though.

It's a Weaponizer. I think it's pretty much guaranteed that it'll be even worse then the other two toys in that regard. :(

I wouldnt be surprised if the Magnus is just a slightly re-tooled, upscaled version of the voyager figure (which i still need to get).

Passing on the new weaponizer prime and BB unless the Prime looks as beefy "dont mess with me" as the cyberverse one does

Well we will see how that pans out.

After all, there was an "unspoken policy" of Weaponizers not even being a thing till this year.

Also, 5-part PCCs were listed in store systems and priced as Ultras. The Universe Ultras are toy-only designs of characters not seen in animation for 20 years. Optimus Maximus is MUCH bigger than a Voyager.

    So we'll see.

Personally, much as I like UM, I hope that the writers of Prime are not pressured to add him into the show just because there's currently a toy design of him that sells well.

Thanks for sharing I guess season 3 will start hopefully somewhere around February since that's when the toys will be released.

I'm betting Magnus's Weaponizer gimmick is based off his shoulder missle launchers ala TF Animated.

    Calling it now.

Agreed. Without an equally sized Megatron, Weaponizer Optimus is pretty useless. I'm not going to count on Hasbro giving us a Weaponizer Megatron, or any other Decepticon Weaponizers for that matter, but it would certainly be nice. I was actually tempted to get this year's Optimus, as he actually looks quite nice in-person. I'm liking the look of his new design even more, so this will be even more tempting...
