I like it when folks buy nice weapons to face the zombies. This way, when their lack of training combined with their overconfidence results in rapid zombification, it'll be that much easier for me to arm myself.

Is "fighting the undead" now the popular reason to buy huge, pointy, completely unnecessary guns?

Cuz as you probably know, zombies don't really exist.

    :lol

I'll be honest, in the case of a zombie outbreak, I think I would probably avoid this weapon if I came across it. Mainly for the reasons you stated.

:lol  My wife said almost the exact same thing. I told her they don't really exist........yet. But I want to be prepared just in case.

I used to work for the armory that imported these, so I got em cheap. i converted the shotgun to look meaner for the hell of it. I have made this post on several different forums, the way the comments lean on the different boards is fascinating.

So that is one of them full auto shotguns :lol

I'm not a big gun "nut" or anything but I'd like to feel I know what I'm looking at.

    Either way, it's a nice "toy" :p

Ever since I was a kid, I've preferred lever-action. But this is nice!

No not full auto, those are still illegal. There is nothing really changed from the old 2 round magazine sportster looking shotgun, except things that make it look meaner. Folding stock, muzzle brake/door breacher, forgrip, 10 round magazine. Before it looked much like a regular shotgun. I just wanted it to be more comfortable/easier to shoot for the tactical classes I get to take all the time. I worked for an big import armory for a long time as their graphic designer. I wasn't into guns until i started working on them a lot, then I started to see them as just machines.

What, haven't you seen the movies? The army always, always get fucked. All those tanks and battleships and jets can't stand up to a bunch of shuffling halfwits at all.
    Face it man, you're fucked.

    You won't make it either.

But don't worry. I won't let you suffer the unlife.

Or more specifically, I won't let people I see that look like Murderface suffer the unlife. But it's the thought that counts.

Hell, I'm deserting. I'm not following them to certain doom. But I figure the background will count for something if I'm semi-solo. Ideally, it'll go down on a family holiday. Then the whole clan can be prepped.

I'm kinda curious about this. What other types of boards and what comments respectively did you get?

I'm going to interject here with the fact that I find anything more than an airsoft gun fucking scary. Or more accurately I find guns in the hands of people who aren't of law enforcement/military background scary.
I'd be fine with owning and handling one myself, but much like driving it's not your competence you really need to worry about; it's everyone else's.
I can't possibly imagine living somewhere with the possibility of my neighbour having one of those sitting in his cupboard.

One in the cupboard? I used to have over 10. I used to have 12 airsoft guns too, now only 5.
Yessir. I used to work for European American Armory when they imported them.

Cool deal. They've always interested me. Nothing like an assault shotgun! I've got the BRD myself. May have to check one of those out at the gun show this weekend. They're in the $250-$350 range right?

Guns in the hands of non-cop civilians scares me...

And as for the whole 'It protects my family' argument, doesn't that just provoke escalation?
