Generations Kup is good enough for me so I'll likely pass on this new one unless it turns out to be amazing. Perceptor could use an upgrade, but I am pretty satisfied with Generations.

All the others sound cool, but I'll need to see some pics before I immediately add them to my purchase list.

 

Kup would be so awesome. Hasbro has really shown a commitment to nailing down the '86 G1 vehicle likenesses this year, and Kup is my favorite. I'd be over the moon if they gave us a good G1 Kup.

 

I hope they don't make Overlord a titan master. He has to be a proper Godmaster.

 

He'd be fine as a Titanmaster, if he comes with two heads. One can be the calm toy face, the other the maniac IDW face.

 

You might as well be prepared to be disappointed now, because he's almost guaranteed to be a headmaster like every other deluxe, voyager, and leader in the line.

 

Looking forward to a new Kup. The CHUG figure we have isn't a bad figure but it just doesn't fit very nicely when displayed beside the other figures from the movie. Given how they improved Blurr and Wheelie I've got my hopes up for the new Kup.

 

Inb4 Twintwist is just a head without a body.

 

Topspin, if not a new mold would look best as the Brainstorm retool of Blurr (hopefully retooled, but if a straight up repaint, the mold is the best choice IMO), most fitting to his G1 toy, but the best use would be the Takara Strafe from CW. But a Helicopter no, a space jet type of vehicle...yes.

Preceptor was supposed to be a new mold, Kup...may be new too.

I can understand wanting Topspin to be a space jet, as it is his G1 likeness.... but honestly, with a name like TOP SPIN... something spinning on the top.... it really is a name that deserves to be given to a helicopter of some sort.

 

The only Topspin I want as a helicopter is the Deception Topspin from Fun Pub's run redone from the CW Alpha Bravo mold. Honestly I'm hoping for an entirely new mold for Topspin that could be retooled into Twin Twist.

 

Well, shoot. I was waiting on the platinum hero collection to complete my movie crew (even though I already have Gen Kup and Springer). If this cup looks more accurate, I'd really only by getting it for Arcee and Magnus, since the new Blurr is also more movie accurate.

 

Change the nosecone guns to drill bits and you're gold IMHO.

Edit. My bad I was think of Twin Twist. This is actually a better representation than I originally thought.

Kind of disappointed about Repugnus. Even if they give him the Apeface treatment it's still not going to be the same.

The rest I dunno, don't really have any opinion on them. Without pics there literally is nothing to judge.

 

The fun thing about Sergent Kup is it likely means we'll also see a Titans Return Orion Pax...

(I'm also assuming PMOP's Apex Titanmaster will be used for both Kup/Pax)

 

Sorry wallet.. Titans Return is awesome! And for those that don't like the gimmick, don't do the gimmick haha. There should be some nice alternate 3rd party heads coming one of these days too. Especially for Scourge and Galvatron. Don't care if they transform and would prefer that they don't.

 

yeah, from the moment it became apparent they weren't likely to release bodies for the HMjrs i've wondered what the reason could be... I mean, the Autobot ones of a lot of repaint potential (you could get Nightbeat/Minirva/Siren out of one mold pretty easily and still have repaint/mold potential)

I don't mind them mixing in the non-HMs, but would much rather see the 88 crew...

 

I doubt that Apex will be used for Kup. The faceplate isn't proportioned for a Deluxe class figure and it just doesn't look like Kup to me.

 

Not good? Straight up terrible in my opinion.

What's weird about that second Kup, is that it should've been Ironhide.

 

Still hoping for a new cross hairs figure.

 

I would mark out so hard for Crosshairs, Sureshot, and Pointblank, but Perceptor is a must-buy for me.

I'd also love a do-over of G1-style Ratchet, since the Universe 2.0 version was a disappointment.
