He came in last week but I was too busy so just grabbed him from the post office today.

Same basic figure as the Voyager Starscream toy except for the colour scheme & head sculpt.

That head looks tons better than the one they're using in the movie.

Hmmmmm. I like. I wonder when these figures are coming out. But for some reason I actually like SS better than Thundercracker for some reason.

 

I like Starscream better too. Movie designs + G1 decos = no good.

 

The glowing handlebar 'stache is .... interesting? I have to say that the retooled head gets no love from me. Starscream's Rocketeer head is definitely better there... The rugby shorts look is also pretty odd.

G1 color schemes just don't seem to work too well with this sculpt.... which is fine. Because the G1 seeker schemes are silly anyhoo, with perhaps the exception of skywarp in his sexy, sexy, black and purple  

 

Arrrgh! Thundercracker's colors are at least infinity% better than Starscream's, but Starscream is wave 1 and I'm an impatient mofo so I will not wait for the better figure. Doh!

 

I can't decide which one I like better.

 

I like the BB and Prime G1 decos.. they already are G1 colored for the most part.
But no, this one looks a little odd and Screamer looks a bit better, IMO.

Starscream's head just looks other worldly. Thundercracker's head looks other worldly AND somewhat creepy too.

Thanks for the pics! I'll get Thundercracker since the new head makes it different enough from Starscream. I have to say I like Starscream's head better though.

 

TC's head is fucking ugly! It looks like someone took a hammer to it!

The colours are voit inducing, I much prefer Starscream, Thundershitter is too hideous for me.

 

I thought it was against the rules to cuss, but maybe I am wrong.
I like Thundercracker, but that gap in his face is very strange.

 

Way better head. It actually looks more like a seeker head and less like a grasshopper. Too bad G1 colors look really tacky on this mold.

 

I don't really mind the colors, though his shorts could have been blue too!
It's that gap in his face that is tripping me out.
