Didn't really care about Magnus until these pics...he's just too badass to miss.

And well-played on Thundertron getting his own faction....I figured Hasbro would just lump him in as an unaligned-but-still-evil Decepticon (a la Lockdown, etc.) This, I hopeIhopeIhope, will open the door to figures of the rest of his Beast-ly crew.

Also, he needs a pirate hat. I couldn't picture him without one while reading Exiles.

Also also, I'll be getting two and repainting one as Bantor. Because it must be done.

 

I'm not going to lie: Ultra Magnus made me almost squeal.

Thundertron and Magnus are bought on sighte=, they look amazing, especially thundertron.

Dreadwing i like a lot may buy him on sight too. same with skyquake. However i really dontlike how the gun for their mold is yet another retool of the s***-tacular gun that comes wiht PRID Prime.

Okay, well I must say, they all look spectacular, Ultra Magnus is Bought so hard. And so is Dreadwing. And Skyquake. Thundertron is interesting...I'd rather see him on the show first though. And even then, I may just repaint/do something else with him....


And that Hammer better lock that way...if it does, it may be the first voyager weapon from the line that I think works.

Well, these are very awesome except those damn stupid giant weapons. ARGGGHH I hate those huge weapons. How many of us throw those away or put them aside and forget about them? Maybe we should stop throwing them away and gather them up and send them back to hasbro as a message. Let them deal with piles of garbage nobody wants!

Also, couldn't care less about Thundertron. He was an unimpressive character in a very short comic appearance where the story sucks!! Most people have no clue who he is and of the people who do know who he is, half of those don't even care about him. Would have been more exciting to see a character people care about.

 

Hey, does anyone have any educated guesses on when the Hasbro versions will actually be released?

 

OMG, that UMagnus is !@#$% stupendous!!! Personally, I think that's the best UMagnus robot toy of all incarnation so far. This newly voyager Prime just tops Animated UMagnus. I love the BFG hammer and especially the side arm rocket made him so bad A$$, he shall be mine!! Vehicle is nice too, again love that rocket missile on the truck like that. Prime UMagnus is the best of both world between RID/Animated.

 

Interesting how Star Seeker is it's own faction now, I wonder if we'll see more since it's been trademarked.

 

Man, these all look great! I'll have to make sure to remove the springs on those Mechtech weapons, though (and perhaps add some paint to Skyquake's).

Also, I love that they apparently kept Thundertron's peg leg.

Okay for a second I was confused by the names on the packaging, but now I see it's two names and figures on the package! Okay... not going insane...

 

All look great. And I'm not going to count out Breakdown until Hasbro says "We are not releasing Breakdown in the States."

Of course, even them saying "We will be releasing Breakdown" doesn't mean he WILL get released. But I won't count him out yet.
