Rachet Looks great !! All the way G1 ... However with Starscream they are trying all they can to make US like it ,so they paint it in a G1 style. Rachet ,awesome. Starscream needs more redesign (movie toy and in the movie itself).
I'll probably get flame for this, but I've never asked for G1 colors for these characters, so I think I can say this... They don't look very good in G1 colors... Seriously, what's up with that? Do they think that if we like Transformers, we must like those freaky stuff as well?
Exactly. G1 decos look terrible with movie designs. Whoever thought of that should be fired right away.
I like the Ratchet repaint. Much better than the ugly green. Is this going to be the Ambulance version that was listed a few months back? If it is, it looks like I'll be waiting for whatever wave (2,3,4?) that comes out in. As for Starscream, he looks okay. I'll probably still get the regular version, though. But, was there even a listing for a G1 style Starscream? I don't remember seeing one.
I like 'em, but I'm not sure I like them MORE than the movie-decos or enough to get both. I'd like to see some bot-modes pics, though. Defininitely interested.
Ratchet looks better in those colors(still not a fan of his bot design, nothing will improve the starscream designs, shit is shit
These are really cool. I wasn't feeling the movie toys at first, then I started to warm up to them. Every picture I've seen so far has been kind of exciting. They look like a good mix between a main line, and the alternators. These redecos are just icing on the cake. The links under the auction are just hilarious, as long as you're not at work. They're "censored," but its still a bit much... 4 words. Naked. Pregnant. Anime Girls.
I have a pretty good clue about the coloring on both releases of the Energon toy and the color scheme for the film toy. Additionally, I've bolded the word "of;" the word you wanted there was "about."

Oh yeah, they'll all be repainted to death. IF I get those molds they will be the movie decos. I probably will, as there will be some good sales.
The Starscream is pretty cool, but if given a choice June 2nd I'd buy this Ratchet over the other one. Not exactly out of "Gee-Wun" but mostly 'cuz I'm not a big fan of that guacamole green.
That would absolutely kick all kinds of ass!!!!! That would quite possibly be the best possible thing that Hasbro could do to turn a quick buck w/ these molds. I know I would buy every single G1 repaint from this line. That SS and Ratchet are fantastic. This might possibly be the first time I am clamoring for repaints. I cannot wait to get my hands on them.
