You make a very good point. As painfully awful as Teen Titans and Legion of Superheroes look, it would be a worse travesty for it to look like the Clone Wars cartoon or Samurai Jack. Minimalism and geometric character designs for the lose.

Sounds good. But are the transformations still going to be a quick spinning around like the Tazmanian Devil or will it be more traditional?

No we're not, I still want my effing show accurate ratchet and ironhide.
That toy was lame to no end.

Other than that, I'm maintaining my wait and see on this show. I have high hopes for what it seems they are attempting. But still need to know if it's planned to be a serial, or episodic.

Let's start whining about how crappy it'll be AFTER we see real character samples colored. Or toys. Otherwise, it's just screaming fire, before the match has even been struck.

Personally I think they are planning something a lil bit different here, think of the shows this creative team has done. Not a single one of those was strictly child aimed or pure brainless fodder, some of it may not be your taste, but they do attempt to make it all audience reachable, without talking down to the audience, or mishandling character personas. A/E/C Did talk down to the audience, among other errors and problems, and some of the scenes, whether it's dubbed or subbed were just UGH. Prime thinking he could cosplay and walk around fine with normal people? WTF! And don't even get me started on "Hot shot's blaster."

I'd rather it was. Samurai Jack is the best cartoon I've ever seen; infinitely better than Teen Titans.

Jack was an excellent style in tandem with the overall feel of the show and the genres it homaged. I <3 it.

That said, I dunno if it'd work well directly applied to Transformers. I'd probably like something similar though. Like, a series done in a Geoff Senior art style (personally found parallels between that and the idea of some of the Jack visuals).
