I can't believe how many times the rights to this franchise have traded hands.

So. After Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and (potentially) Die Hard, is this the next trilogy to get futtbucked?

Future war ftw. It's just a pity we won't get Reese because obviously Micheal Beihn will appear older, when Reese should actually look younger than he did before.

They did Terminator up the arse by making it a trilogy in the first place, the third film was only marginally less entertaining then a biblical plague.

Well I guess it entertained me, but it was still mediocre in many, many ways. Too many "good" movies are being ruined by crappy scripts and sometimes, poor casting. One can only hope Terminator will take a turn for the better, huh?

I was entertained by 3. it wasn't oscar-worthy by any means, but it was fun watching crap get destroyed. I'd also love to see the beginnings of the actual war, which is right where 3 left off. That being said, however, I really hope they put effort into the script.

I am a HUGE Terminator fan, I really hope they dont screw this up, hopefully they have enough cash to get cameron back, or enough on him, to get him to do it.

The 3rd was a long shot from being a "great" movie but I liked how it ended.

You know Arnold will be there somehow. Maybe this time he's a new model of old man terminator. In the future Connor somehow figures out a way to bring back his old buddy and modifies him so he can grow into an old man as he learns human emotions.

He'll have new abilities like super dentures, atomic pants pooping. I love terminator, but to me Arnold is terminator and vice versa. They really should not continue this series unless they could find someone comparable to replace Arnold which is impossible.

Can we just not have the tired "robot goes back in time to kill/protect important human" thing?

Everyone knows the third movie was only made and released to give Arnold the media exposure push just before he announced his candidacy for California governor. Being made as a 'good' movie was irrelevant.

I liked the idea of 3, Skynet/machines going online and the apocalyptic ending in particular, though it could have been better executed overall. That it basically sets everything up to happen much like it was always 'supposed to' happen leaves potential for good movies to be made. Some kinda fucked up seprequel thing going on as it would essentially be the story leading up to the first movie..but technically taking place after...*head explodes*

Well, I'm hopeful. T3 definitely wasn't the best, but I found it interesting and entertaining. It set up a lot of possiblities for more stories. I for one would definitely like to see the future war...
