finally doesnt look like a bad geocities site. it's still not "great", but it's better. there's a broken image link right above the master collector image link, by the way. also, red text for the update date on a gray background? bad choice. hurts eyes.
Hmm, not big on mini-cons so the story is interesting, but not as much as it could be for me. The page looks decent, but I'm more interested in real updates. Elita-1 maybe?
Progress in the right direction. I'd be lying if I said I thought it was where it needed to be--where it could be--but it looks much, much better.
Quick question - I've been on the site a lot in the past but I collect primarily G1s and G1 related or influenced (ie: Classics, MP). I like some of the club exclusives (especially that Astrotrain) but do you think it's worth joining for a collector like me? Do any current members of the club think the discounted items in the store save them enough money to justify the membership costs? Does anyone know if the Seacons are going to be combiners or not?
I would give it a whirl once and see what you think. The newsletters are decent. The store prices seem to be about the same as retail with membership but the exclusives are pretty neat...if they do the Seacons, (a G1 item), it might be time to take the plunge. BTW, you are from Columbus...*shouts O-H* Thank you for your service.
If you're thinking about going to BotCon, then signing up is a no-brainer. Membership is essentially free with the package discount. I dug Astrotrain & Airrazor, but they're not for everybody. The magazine is...well, it's okay but not great. And I'm looking forward to having all five of my member combiners. The Club Store is basically a waste of time. You might find an item here or there, but it's not my first stop for anything. And I'm sure the Seacons will be combiners. The molds will be identical, no reason they wouldn't still combine. And I'm
