It sure is. I never owned TFC Jazz but wanted one for the correct stickers, unalterered weapons & full chrome. But if he's that bad, I'll leave well enough alone.

That was actually Revival, which - come to think of it - would have been a good name for these (if they are in fact reissues).

 

Hot damn! I was hoping for the TFC re-releases. Prime's a definite. No to the others, in all likelihood.

 

I wonder what Takara has in store for this Soundwave reissue. I have a feeling it'll just be TFC 10, but if they make it the Soundblaster mold, I just might go for this instead of trying to get the Hasbro reissue that I (just like fosterlager) STILL HAVE NOT FOUND at TRU.

 

Anyone here ever buy from digital toys? they have a few things, on top of these that Im interested in.

Pepsi Convoy is the only Convoy for me though and I have Megatron.

 

Prime, Megatron, and Starscream are so gonna be Classics figures with more paint applications...

And Soundwave, well, he'll be an all-plastic version of the Titanium figure...hahaha

I don't think Tomy/Takara will re-issue Prime without the trailer and Megatron without the attachments. If they do that then sales will not be that good. I myself will not buy a G1 prime without a trailer - it does not justify it value-wise.

 

FUCK YEAH!!! I've been wanting that TFC#9 Starscream for some time, but I couldn't justify paying nearly $100 for one. I hope he comes with those neat hand and Megatron gun accessories.

 

Do you think they are gonna release the Animorph Transformers reissues soon since the movie is coming out?

.... well the only TFC toy i ever paid more than retail for was Starscream. It's vaguely irritating to see the same small number of toys reissued over and over again, but another Prime reissue was almost inevitable.

The upside is it sounds like the 'renewal' line isn't going to cost me a penny.

Animorph characters will be used for the next few Masterpiece toys.

 

I'd say we would be getting the i-pod OP with the new head in G1 colors for Prime, and the TRU Soundwave. (who I hope will have a couple of the other cassetts like Frenzy and Ratbat)

They may make a few changes to the Megatron and Starscream too.

Well this is interesting , I already have all TFC, soI hope they just dont reissue them without any alterations orsomething that makes it worth getting. I kinda feel a little bumde to. The value of the TFC toys are starting to go up , and then they destroy the market with megatron , and now this,,,bahhhh .

I fully understand ppl that dont have the TFC figs and miss some this will be a great time , but it destorys the second market value for the ppl that already owns them. So please God , let them atleast change the packing and alter them a bit.

Sounds selfish , but hey , just my opinion and I doubt Im the only one thinking this way.

 

Assuming these are "new" G1 reissues, I'm not finding any reason to convince myself to buy any of them.

 

Hope they are just straight reissues of the TFC line. I have 2 of each. I'm broke trying to save for a condo.....
