yeh renewal would seem to indicate reissues, these are also major characters ofcourse so would be good to reissue in the movie period

It would be nice if they were reissues. I wouldn't mind picking up another Prime for 5000 Yen (~$40).

Those are MSRPs that could very well match the G1 toys.

But they'll sell. I'll buy a Soundwave if it's the Soundblaster chest that I STILL HAVE NOT FOUND at Toys R Us.

wow if those were g1 reissues then thank God! I would not spend that much for a G1 reissue prime. TF movie toys are out of the picture since the listing included Soundwave or again I could be wrong.

    5,000 Japanese Yen = about $42.

After BBTS markup, you're right. I don't feel like spending $105.

If they are the Collection series I only need the Prime and Starscream I would like them to do the Minibots #12 I just can not pay e-bay prices. I bid up to $80 but never holds up.

I don't know about reissues. Starscream and Soundwave sound about right price wise for reissues, but Convoy and Megatron seem like they'd run more than 5000 yen MSRP, which is only about $40 as others have noted. I think this may be something else entirely, but who knows. If I were going to re-re-issue four G1 Transformers, those would be the four to pick.

maybe Prime and Megs without trailer and gun attachaments (well aside from the scope, duh.)? these cost too much to be classics (plus, no soundwave)...

If hasbro could reissue prime at 40 dollars, takara sure as hell could at the same price.

I really hope that these are G1 reissue cause I really need a G1 prime for my collection and I don't want to pay 200 dollars!

Jp prices are usually more than US ones. Deluxes for the past few lines have been around the $18-20 mark, I believe.

I'd think that a cab-only G1 Prime should cost less than Soundwave and (maybe) Starscream.
