I didn't even know there was a G1 Barricade until after the 2007 movie came out. The evil cop car is so ingrained in my mind that that's my version. Sorta like how no one remembers Energon Bulkhead, but they know Animated/Prime Bulkhead. I'd love it if they threw us a surprise and made him a race car again. A g1 version of Barricade? Oh hell yes, I'm so buying that. Yeah, and kind of like there has been a Blackout since G1 (a micromaster, much like G1 Barricade) but everyone remembers the helicopter from the movies.
Wow, nice to actually have a pre-order on 3 Reflectors, just to avoid the hassle of tracking multiple down. And maaaaaayyyyybeeeee the price will drop during the pre-order period.
Wouldn't mind a G1-ified version of the movie Barricade, like his Earth Wars appearance, but I'm good with them doing an update for the original G1 version as well. The one thing I don't want is him to be exactly like Prowl except with Decepticon insignias. I want him to at least have some retooling done even if he shares the same basic mold as Prowl.
Thats why I'm waiting for them to either go in stock or wait for Bigbadtoystore preorders. Anyway I'm definitely game for a G1 Barricade, if he goes the way I think he will then he is a must have... To quote, I would have waited an eternity for this.
I wouldn't be surprised if we got a remold of Siege Cybertronian mold Mirage. A homage to both G1 and movie versions? I'd go for that.
