    Yeah, it's a nice piece. I currently have UW Devastator holding it in anticipation of handing it over to Predaking.

    Then it wouldn't be an update to the G1 team. Like it or not, these are meant to be modern updates of the G1 models, so adding a sixth member would have been 'incorrect'.
    Personally, I would have hated that. Predaking, like Abominus, Bruticus, Superion and the others is a five man team.
    I do believe the size here is due to the original toy being the biggest combiner, and while Predaking is my absolute favorite Combiner and I am thrilled that he got the titan class treatment, I completely understand the desire for them to be smaller.
    But it is what it is. Some of us are totally thrilled with this release, some aren't. Par for the course.

    I understand the desire for toy accuracy too.
    I often want toy accuracy myself.
    But apart from that they seriously compromised the individuals for the combiner and I also understand the desire to keep Predaking a five bot combiner, but I think adding a sixth member and having a double deluxe torso or double voyager for that matter would have been a more elegant solution to Predakings design challenges.

    I just wish those were tampos and not stickers.
    The stickers on Grimlock and Hun-gurr were peeling right out of the box, and that just ruins the whole set for me.

    Ive kind of come around a little of this guy since his terrible first photos. Still think he desperately needs an upgrade kit with bigger wings and cannons

    The combined mode looks great and that's the mode that most people will probably keep him in. The thigh pieces on the backs of Headstrong and Tantrum look a little lame, but I think they did a pretty good job with the figure otherwise.

    If I may ask, why? The cannons are already much larger than the G1 version, and the wings are pretty much the perfect size compared to the bot width.
    I have a feeling it's because the 3P versions all had gigantic wings and now, like Sixshot and swords, many people feel that that's the way it should be.

    Looks good, though hardly perfect. If that yellow waist section with the 'con symbol was much shorter (or missing altogether) and he had the spiked knuckles, he'd be much closer IMO. I'm content to give him one of the 'stupid overkill' swords from the "Combiner Hunters" fembot 3-pack.

    It will be interesting to see what upgrades pop up.

    I’m more annoyed by that thin torso than anything- the fact that it’s smaller than his hips really drives me up a wall. That said the figure still looks quite nice and I do think it maintains the imposing prescence Predaking should have.
