For all we know Prime, Ironhide, Jolt, the Twins, and who ever else is getting their butts handed to them, or dishing out pain, with Megs and Starscream in another section. OR, they may be spending this entire battle sequence in robot form.

Watching the video, the only sound I heard was just gun fire.

 

I don't think it's such a minority or unpopular view. It stands to reason that robots, however sophisticated would have their weak points. Even with the most advanced military in the history of this planet, troops still get taken out by primitive roadside bombs. There's no such thing as invincible.

If we have the technology to nuke a country back to the stoneage, we probably have ways of taking down alien robots.

My objection to the military vs transformers angle is that it's used to sell military as exciting and heroic. I don't like seeing Transformers being used to boost military recruitment.

 

That's why they always film these things at a higher framerate.

When you see them in the movie, they won't look like puny fireworks.

 

I loled at the "I quit drinking on 7/14/10" tapped to the bottom of the BB clapper

 

I love that the guy lands on a TF to get right in there and shoot it. Looks like he's not having too much success XD, but still.

 

hopefully the reason no OP and others (well thas assuming there just not in the fram of the video) is becasue theres multiple battles going on in CHicago and tha what i hope... i still cant believe how they made the parts of the city look soo friggen messed up its awsome. really cant wait for the first teaser lol

But to give my opinion on the aesthetic on a whole. I think that Michael Bay's so called "more realistic" Transformers designs, are just another excuse to dehumanize the Transformers even further.

 

It looked like he landed on a Con, but that con got hit as soon as he did, and then he either fell off, or was supposed to die, or get thrown about.

DAM! this fight is gonna be epic! and, correct me if im wrong, but i dont think we have seen ironhide yet. hes usually always with ratchet. i wonder where he is?

I dunno...don't get too excited, but this being the end of the trilogy, it would not surprise me if one or two pretty major 'Bots died.....

I'm just saying. Personally, I could see Sideswipe and Ironhide being on that short list. And Jolt, if he shows back up. Speaking of which, anybody else think he might be that purple-ish Mercedes?
