Hey everyone. This is deceptihunter. I have the ROTF Optimus and Jetfire combo. From the very first time I combined them, I never really liked the way the thrusters and jetfire's arms were positioned. So, I got some info from youtube about how to make jetfire's arms look better. I got the idea for the arms from peaugh on youtube. My camera port has a cable that got cut when we moved so I don't have any pics, sorry. You just simply fold the arms in half like in the jetfire robot mode. However, the thrusters I never really liked it with the way that hasbro suggested. So, what I did was turn the thrusters upside down, with the point pointed down. It is really simple, nothing major, but it looks a lot better. The thrusters don't seem to be hidden like before. The thrusters are elevated about a good 3-4 inches above primes head which looks great! Slant the thrusters inward and then slant them again towards one another, then take the two panels that say JTFR and line them up parallel to the thrusters. When you do this, they look just like the four towers on primes back. If you want to make them look better, take the wing flaps that have the slashed out con' emblem on them and fold them back, then take the other flaps on the thrusters and fold them to where you don't see any emblems, (the back of these flaps facing forward while the side with the emblems facing the thrusters). I hope this makes a lot of people like their Optimus Prime Jetfire combo better. I haven't seen anyone else do it this way so I may be the first. Enjoy!
Aw, I wish there were pics Interesting idea though. I still need to get JetFire. I can't find him anywhere!
First off...pics would be a big help. Secondly...pointing the thrusters backwards defeats the purpose of Optimus using them for flight. Thirdly...break up that paragraph, it makes it really hard to read.

Your post is hard to read, but I think I know what you mean about "folding the arms in half"... you mean the front parts of the jet, I assume? But like Mr. Natureboywoo says in point 2... it's supposed to be a flight mode for Prime.
What exactly is the point of this thread? Instead of giving us a long speech about the PUP, just supply the video link. Also, it's pretty old news. The video was uploaded 3 months ago.
You are correct about the arms. I understand what Mr. Natureboywoo is talking about the thrusters and I thought the same thing too before I tried it. But after I actually tried it, it looks much better doing it this way.
So you want him to use the thrusters for aiding in gravity as opposed to flight? Whatever floats your boat man. I'll stick with how I have it.
I'm pretty sure that's exactly how Peaugh set his up. I followed his video to make mine look better, except the engines point the correct way. Upside down seems rather silly and I have zero visibility problems with them as-is. What-evs.
Just for the record, OP's thrusters was used to blast megatron through that wall, and what position were they in...uh...maybe upside down? DUH...of course they were upside down!
