They were released in the uk.

Disney owns the american rights so no american release.

Ok, that makes more sense. I figured because he was located in the states it was something new that I missed.

They're region 2. You'll need a region free player and something that can play PAL format to watch them.

I never knew these exsisted. These plus that new dvd set featuring Headmasters, Victory, and Masterforce I'm highly tempted to get a region free dvd player.

Now I have another question. Has Beast Wars Neo, Beast Wars 2nd, Energon and Cybertron been released in DVD sets overseas as well? I hit up wikipedia, but couldn't find any info on them. I would LOVE to have every TF show on DVD.

Plus, I believe M.A.S.K. And Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors were released overseas on DVD as well!

    wonder if Visionaries was too...?

The dub is terrible, only about four or five voices with a bad command of English. Blaster is called Billy for some reason.

Well, I guess what makes it special is that it has twice as many episodes as the Jetix Battle Protocol TF RID DVD that only has the first three episodes.

It features both Japanese audio with English subtitles, and the infamous StarTV dub.
