It definitely sounds like she had fun, for a character no one cared for.

Pretty weak interview, was hoping for a little more substance.

I agree... Much like her role in the movie this interview was pretty throw away.

Iwas hoping to hear a question about whether the tattoo on her neck was real or not, what why it was featured in a few camera shots and Megan's were intentionally covered up?
    But... that's just me.

I suspect it's because her character was still in high school and it's not legal to have tatoos if you're under 18. I suspect her character was likely under 18.

Her character served no purpose in the movie. She just sort of disappears towards the end of the flick. Another throwaway cliched human role that used up time that could have been devoted to actual character development of the Transformers.

They prepared for roles for terrible characters! Sweet! Get the Oscars ready!

    She is cute though...

I wonder if she even realizes how completely superfluous she was to the film?

Wow, you guys are harsh. I thought that was a pretty good interview, and I was impressed with how articulate she is in real life. That adds something to my view of her appearance in the film--she really seemed genuinely smart, and genuinely concerned to have more active women in modern films. It wasn't the most insightful interview, but it was nice to see where she was coming from and where she plans to go after this major production.

Some people operate under the belief that for each human character in Transformers, it means another minute of robot footage was taken away. Or something.

It's not? It is here, as long as the parents okay it. And the only reason it's not done without parental consent is to avoid civil lawsuits (minors can't enter into contracts) not because there's a law against kids having tatoos.

Though if they were too young Social Services might be interested...

I like the interview and I thought she had more use than Megan Fox's role (blank stares anyone?). I mean, yeah she was there for Shia's character of course, but Rachel's character I thought was far more appealing to me in the movie.

Oh hell, both them ladies are fine!!

Gross...some of you guys are making a mess out of this thread....!

Add me to the list of people who thinks they should have done away with the "development" of the completely useless, cliched, "hacker" characters, and given the Decepticons, and perhaps Jazz some, oh, I don't know....character?

That's just me....and a lot of other people...

Hoping for more substance from an interview with Peter Cullen, I could understand.

From an interview with an actress who played a character with little substance? I'd call that high hopes.

When asked how she likes it here, she said that she feels like she should have been born here and that she's "deliriously happy".

OK, how many people born in LA say "deliriously happy"?
(OK, how many interviewers can spell "deliriously happy"?)

She said that Bay and Spielberg were "incredibly passionate and excited and invested in the magic of making movies." How many American actresses could put that sentence together on the spur of the moment?

"Thank you for all of your very vibrant questions."

I liked her more than Megan Fox. (both acting-wise and sheer appearance) ALL human characters were worthless in the film (except maybe Sam)---it's not her fault hers was especially throw-away. I though she did a much better job with what she had to work with than Megan Fox did.
