    hello people of TFW 2005, it is I valdric_gundam with another question... I was hopeing that some one out there can tell me the diffrence between Acrilic and enamal paints... I mean like what are the coloring efects of both... does one come out darker or lighter... please respond.

    Enamels allow for greater depth of color and are tougher. They also require special thinner and take much longer to cure.

    Acrylics are water based. They don't dry in a great depth of color, but they dry within minutes, and are much easier to clean off the figure if you want to change something. They also chip more easily than enamels, but I've found them to be durable enough for custom figures.

    now for my next question... what would you use for a gundam model... for a right out of the T.V. Anime look?
