*sigh* The painted windows are the only thing keeping me from buying this. If by some miracle they do keep the clear windows on this guy, I'll definately get him!

Looks like a pretty solid figure.

Of course, I likely won't buy it as I hate the movie aesthetics. My wallet is going to love 2007. :D

I Think They Transformed The Chest Wrong. If You Look At The Car Pic It Has Points That Change And Transform That It Doesnt Show Different From Car To Robot. I Bet Once Fully Transformed This Will Kick Ass!

Hmmn, good point. It would match the concept art we saw (it had the outer parts of the front pointed down, and the middle part pointing forward).

Awesome. For the "WHY CANT ALTERNATORS BE IN THE MOVIE" crowd, it looks like this toy is for you :)

It looks like a good Exhibit A as to why they should have used EXISTING Alts for the designs.

That thing is definitely NOT Alternator level.

If all the movie TF's looked like this, I wouldn't be complaining much. I think this is an okay design. I hate the head, which could have easily been made to looke more like Bumblebee. It's hard to keep a "personality" when so much is different about something. The heads are pretty horrible for most of the movie designs. They look too much like insects instead of robots.

It looks fine, I don't hate it or want to bash it or anything, but something just isn't grabbing me with these. Which is fine with me...that's pretty much what I was expecting.

Yeah...because this is priced at half of what an Alternators would cost

Personally, I don't think he is all that bad, and I still like the translucent windows (and the painted over translucent would STILL look better than the regular yellow plastic, IMO).
But I'm going to wait and see what future waves have in store, I really think Hasbro is going to slide into a good grove with second/third versions of the core characters (and hopefully we'll get a version with his Battlemask)

Not really. Some of the vehicle bits could be integrated better, but there's no real shell here. This is nothing compared to Cybertron Thunderblast or Tit Scourge.

Still not interested in the movie toys. My wallet will quite likely enjoy 2007 as well.
