Sorry if this isn't the right forum for this, but I think it just went up today & some people might be interested... reading it now- I wonder if there are clues to the backstory of the Protector armor.

The rodimus roller looks really nice and it was a pretty interesting comic

Seriously...   I did like the way they reenacted the '86 movie Prime/Megs fight using Classics figures... I guess that's the style TFCC and others use, but still cool to see.

So the official release date is Dec/January? This is one set I wouldn't mind pushed back since MP Rodimus is expected to be released around the same time.

 

So... Is the Protector armor coming with Roller?? What about Firebolt?

 

Looks like they've released the comic. Seems like the story indicates that Rodimus inherits the G3 Trailer with Roller that will be reformatted for him.

It's cool that Rodimus is finally getting his own Roller, I always thought that would be neat. But I'm REALLY hoping that this set comes with "the Artifact"  

 

Not only does Protector come with a Roller, he comes with an inferiority complex too! Love it!

 

Wait what? How did we jump to this conclusion? The set won't include a Rollar based on all the images we've seen so far.

Well, the comic, along with the image attached below would seem to indicate otherwise. Granted, we're still pretty far into speculation territory.

 

We haven't seen Firebolt yet, but he's apparently coming with him, too...

 

I have a feeling the entire trailer can become part of Rodimus in robot mode.

 

yeah, that's my big question after seeing this... nothing's been shown, but they also didn't "show" a targetmaster Firebolt, but hinted it could be included... not sure about the space though; does it seem possible that they could squeeze the G3 Roller in there?

I'm trying to convince my wallet that Protector = MP Rodimus and that I need both.

 

Not that far off, the images from botcon show a roller with the armor I think. And this is going to be the first FP Product I get my hands on if it kills me!!

 

Don't see the need for a roller drone.
