Optimus is so cool when he... does anything, really, but talking mostly. The lip snyc is pretty good here. In Darkness Rising there were a few instances, even in closeup of the lip sync not really being so.
I know... it's just so cool to see Optimus talking for some reason. I could just watch him talk, and Peter Cullen's voice coming out of his well-synched lips all day. I don't why, it's strange, but I'm loving Optimus' facial animation in this series. In most closeups, anyway. The quality decreased significantly in Part One when he says, "If they're scouting for Energon..." to when he says, "Ratchet, track his position!" a moment later. They'll probably fix it up more as more time goes on, and experience with the animation improves.
