Working on another Predacon... Don't have a name for him yet, but I'm leaning towards Tyrexus.
Basically he was a Maximal who is rumored that he was formally an Autobot Battle-Master, who fought in the "Great War'' on Cybertron (he never got to Earth). After upgrading into a Maximal, he opted on the hardest missions to the furthest reaches of space, as he found "peace" on Cybertron not to his liking. In reality, he fled Cybertron believing the new peace held nothing for him.
Aboard his exploratory vessel, he and his crew of fellow Maximals befell an Ion Storm, that disabled the ship, causing it to crash on an unknown world. Many Maximals were destroyed in the impact, but a few did survive. Unfortunately Tyrexus' many of his main systems including his neuro-net processor and transformation scanner were damaged, causing his protoform to scan and adapt his form prematurely. What became of him was twisted and evil.

He fled into the lush world, and created a stronghold. From there, he systematically hunted, and destroyed his once fellow Maximals, for he was now a savage beast, an animal with the mind and prowess of a veteran Autobot Battle-Master...

So yeah, that's his back-story, He was made using a junked Dinozaur stegosaurus figure I found in yet another garage sale. I still have some small sculpting to do, then paint, but other than that all the major work is done.
As you can see his Beast mode is a made-up alien creature, but it exemplifies his purpose of a burly, armoured bipedal creature that was extinct on that alien world.

    Enjoy mates:

i think it should be a terrorcon or seacon, seems out of theme with the predacons. maybe just me. but it is dope, colors definitley make me think seacon though.

It's wicked cool. It kinda reminds me of a monster I drew years back.

Very cool - the only thing I would change is the beast mode feet. They look awkward pointing backwards like that.

Maybe spin them around or sculpt them up a bit?

Dude, nice work! I bought the mammoth of those hoping I could do something cool, but was dissapointed by it and abandoned the project. but seeing what you pulled off makes me want to dig it out and look at it again. i really dig your new sculpting to. the head crests look like they have always been there, and you haven't even painted it yet! :)

    Thanks all!
I'll see what I can do on his feet, but I think I like them as is, because it looks very alien in an Adam Power kind-of-way

Thanks mate, I should be painting him up soon.
And yeah, I wish I could get my hands on some more Dinozaurs in general...
