I dunno about you, but I would buy Metroid Prime and Prime Echoes with the Wii control scheme.

Seems like there's a bit of a demand, TT.

 

...but then you would have to actually play Echoes...

Are they going to remake Sonic Heros,Shadow the Hedghog,Super Mario Sunshine,Super Smash Bros. Meele or LM?

 

I'd imagine Mario Sunshine would be. Smash Bros. Melee would be to close behind it. Both games were extremely popular. And Melee did sell the most copies than anyother GCN game.

Luigi's Mansion would be a nice remake. Not so sure about... MK: Double Dash!! It they remake Luigi's Masion, and Mario Sunshine I'll buy them. But now that I think about it, Melee probaly be remaked, seen as Brawl uses all of the Controlers including the GCN's. So it would be pointless.

 

I like this idea 50/50. Now I love nintendo and my Wii, but I can't stand how they keep rehashing old things.

But this does let me get some old GC games like MK double dash, Pikmin 1&2, and metroid prime.

 

I'm definitely down for the upgraded Metroid games. See, this isn't such a bad idea as long as they don't go crazy with it. Like, with Metroid Prime 1 and 2, they can definitely benefit from the new controls... but if they do Starfox Assault and you're flying the Arwing by holding the remote like a paper airplane... then, no.

 

I'd buy those Metroids. I loved Metroid Prime 3 and Hunters, but I gave up on the first Metroid Prime because it was unplayable with the controller. Sorry Halo generation kiddies, my FPS games were played with a mouse and keyboard, and I am spoiled by that high standard of control. I just can't work with only a stick. The pointer was a great substitute for a mouse, maybe even better than a mouse with its precise aiming, and quite natural to use.

I'd enjoy playing these games I missed before with controls proper to FPS gaming. And hey, if you've played them already, just don't buy them. A lot of people overlooked the great games that were on the gamecube, so why not give them a second chance, with better control. Assuming they get it right. RE4 Wii Edition set a high standard for revising controls, so these ports will have to live up to that standard.

 

I will buy both metroid prime games upgraded for the Wii. Metroid Prime will be fun to play again, and I might actually be able to tolerate Echoes now. Maybe. doubtful. why am I lying to myself. Echoes cannot be fixed.

I will buy Metroid Prime.

 

Echoes was damned hard. I look forward to new controls so I can properly beat the piss out of those dark realm dbags.

 

If hard = boring, repetitive, and dark, then yes, quite hard.

 

well, the Mario Tennis game was #1 last week in Japan...and it worked, so expect more....maybe if it bombed, they would stop it...

i pefer the GC Mario Tennis though (after playing other swing sports games)...but the ones that really benefit it sounds cool.

They didn't remake the game. They modified the controls to work with the wiimote and nunchuk.

This I will buy, just because #1 Pikmin ruled, and #2, I never did get around to playing the 2nd one.

 

You guys who are complaining about them not making new games relise these are like two or three people working on these titles while other teams are going full fledged on new games.

It takes more then 6 months to make a game nowen days.

And if you want to bitch about these.. Bitch about Madden, Halo, GTA... and those.
