To be fair, this the idea for this figure came from hasbro asia, not hasbro NA.

The reason for the head size is due to the way that Bulkhead transforms. You can't really have a larger head than that due to the fact that the head needs to flip through a narrow-ish slot in the roof during transformation. Bulkhead gets away with it thanks to his head design having a wide jaw - Brawn's, with the face set into the wider section, less so.

Taking another look... that head looks a bit cartoonish... maybe that's just artwork and not the actual sculpt?

Give me a break. This looks too lazy even for their standards. No way I'm buying this!

Brawn was always characteristic small with a lot of might. Doesnt matter what they do with the head, this is a horrible cash grab.

Seconded. As an FE Bulkhead owner, you CAN'T put a larger head on that figure. I'm surprised how many of you are forgetting how important engineering limitations are. Anyone else own Faith Leader, where if you put on the slightly-wider "animated" head you disable transformation?

They are ALL "horrible cash grabs." All of them, even if they are new molds. It's just that each of us have ones we like and ones we don't.

I'm also surprised how many people are forgetting the history of this figures. It was obvious from the beginning that this was one division of Hasbro's first stab at doing ANYTHING creative with the franchise, with limited resources. It's only because the reaction to the overall product line was so universally positive that these figures are coming out here at all.

Though it seems Brawn may have been rejected, and it's not hard to understand why. I see what they were trying to do but...sigh. It's a very nice head.

Holy crap. If this is a trivial swap, and Brawn's trivial to get, and it ends up looking good, I might have to get this guy after all. RotF Brawn is a great re-interpretation of the original Brawn design, and it works fine for Outback, but I don't really think of him as Brawn without the animated-style head.

"Id rather be pissed off than pissed on"

Anyway, I am going to get at least one of these whether I leave it as is or customize them will be determined when I get it/them! Like I said before I think the bodies are perfect for Trailbreaker and Hoist.
