You know... I do appreciate the update of him and the fact that he's leaps and bounds above his original figure... however, I find the fact that he seemingly has no shoulder articulation to be ridiculous. With today's engineering capabilities... that should never have happened...

Looks nice, however I hate the blue painted windows on the arms, clashes with the rest of the clear windows. Why couldn't they make them clear, or just take out the plastic were the widow is.

i think i'm going to pass on this guy ~ originally i was wow'd but as time as gone on i realized i really don't want an homage to my most-hated series cluttering up my shelf.

I like the design a lot though. If Armada had just looked that good when it came out...
with 2001s engineering capabilities, Armada should never have happened...
that is kind of tacky looking, huh...

...i guess it does make him look better in 'bot mode, but it really looks gross in car mode.

Haha, am I not a true TF fan if I think the whole mini helicopter attached to a street car thing is just ridiculously lame? I just don't get it.

It was pretty silly back in Armada, but that was also a huge part of Armada's charm. Having tiny vehicles plug into larger robots for "power ups".

Really, scale in that series was never a concern. Especially when you consider that Unicron, who was the size of a moon, could attach a pedal bike, a tank, a skateboard and a moon / asteroid to his rings. And this was promoted on the packaging!

Well certainly an improvement over the original.

Still an improvement over the worst figure I've ever bought (not saying the worst ever as there are many bad ones I never bought) isn't enough to make me want to shell out $12 for him. Plus his overall design is still pretty terrible (still looks like the slow kid in the helmet).

Looks good. Better tahn past pictures have made him. YuM jAam!!!1!!11!1!!
Take a look at the first picture again. Notice how his arm is pointing forward.

THAT'S shoulder articulation. They hurt, but they work.

Right now, the only thing I don't like is the placement of the windshield. But it would be silly to overlook all the strong points for that.

Nope nope nope. Still got more love for my Powerlinx Armada figure than I'll ever have for this guy.
