Love that SD Prime do want but I think the flames don't work for it. This is not me hating Prime with flames in general, the movie design makes it look good, this just looks awkward and out of place. Other then that I think it's great.

The Constructicon looks great, it did last time we saw it but there's nothing new here.

"Scavenger" looks very promising - can't wait to see pics of the others.

Does not look sufficiently like Scavenger, and does not look sufficiently like a realistic construction vehicle. Plus, it's too big to fit with the classics. You can do better, TFC!

We already got color pics of the prototype, isn't this going in reverse with a grey prototype? Really nothing new here.

Actually, if they were deluxe sized, they'd be much better in scale with the mass majority of the CHUG figures. Especially since Hasbro's going deluxe with Generations.

Fansproject Bruticus towers over CHUG figures and he's made up of 4 scouts and a deluxe. A gestalt made of 6 deluxes would be way, way too big.

But isn't he meant to tower over everyone else, kind the point of combiners isn't?

Ok guys, you will have to excuse my 3rd party product ignorance here. Will someone please explain this to me as I am really confused

Does this "TF Club" have anything to do with TFCC? If not, I am assuming it is just as overseas collectors club. Does this have anything to do with Fansproject or Crossfire 03?? Is this a completely different 3rd party add-on?

On another note, in thinking back, it seems quite convenient that the Crossfire Add-ons came out around the same time that Superion and ROTF Bruticus were "re-issued". I do realize that Fansproject probably knew that these were coming out, but are we to expect a re-issue of Classics Devastator as well. I would think that if Crossfire 03 add-on is for Devastator, that since there are many of us that haven't had a chance to get it (other than the secondary market at this point) that fansproject sales of a crossfire 03 add-on would not be very high unless it gets re-issued.

Any other thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves.....

TFC is a Chinese "club," or, more appropriately, a 3rd party company. They are not the same entity as Fansproject, and these Constructicons are not Crossfire 03. They also appear to be full-fledged figures, not add-ons. Thus, I would hazard a guess that Energon Devastator is not going to be reissued, which opens the market to the TFC Constructicons.

And the Chinese 3rd party companies are probably very familiar with the factories that work for Hasbro, so they know in advance which figures are coming out. Still, designing a high-quality 3rd party product (particularly an add-on) probably requires a longer development cycle than those of HasTak, so they cannot coordinate their releases perfectly.

TFClub has nothing to do with TFCC. They are indeed a 3rd party group similar to Fansproject and iGear etc. This is not related to anything Fansproject is doing.

The first Crossfire set for Superion came out around Aug 2009, which was around a year after the Universe/ROTF "re-releases" for these figures became public info. Considering the Bruticus upgrade kits just came out a few months ago, nearly 2 years after. That doesn't lend a whole lot of credence to any theories about FP knowing before the rest of us.

I'm willing to bet a Crossfire-03 set for Devastator would sell like hot cakes.

Also, does not, and will not exist. Barring complete and utter failure on TFClub's part, and probably some sort of re-release of Constructicon Maximus in the future.

And will probably be more like Crossfire-05 or 06, if that were to happen.

Could not disagree more. Construction vehicles are HUGE, and Devastator is supposed to be HUGE, so if this finally means a somewhat "in scale" version of the Constructicons & Devastator in relation to the CHUG figures, I say bring it on. Especially if all the Devy limbs are self contained in the Constructicon bots and don't require bunches of snap on parts. That's the whole point of combiners - to form a giant robot that towers over everyone else - not to just form a slightly larger than average robot.

FP Bruticus looks pretty good... but only in combined mode, and with or without the FP upgrade parts, all the original individual bots are a joke size & mold wise.

Hahaha. Says you. Devastator needs to be big. Have you not seen construction vehicles up close?
