I am so fwiggin glad I pre-ordered this. The color mock up just looks astounding. The fact that it's actually possible to hold his huge gun mode makes me so happy. There is nothing to dislike about this figure.

Oh, and I think you could connect a stock piece to the pistol grip, either using the back of the feet, or the loop on the sides.

Well I would say that really but it could be a little girly man hand. that hand also doesn't look at all hairy but there are some hairy little kids out there. Girly-man hands.

 

This is going to look AWESOME incorperated into a Joker costume next Halloween!!! 

 

It looks more like a badly taken photo. That's why the hand probably looks off. Other than that, Megatron lives. I guess.

 

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Really, really glad I pre-ordered him.

It's great to see that he can actually be held in gun mode. I had no problems with the oversized gun, but it doesn't seem nearly as bad as so many people made it out to be.

Happy to see the mace attaches the same way Prime's axe does, with the fist folding in and the weapon clamping over top.

The head sketches really do look far more toon accurate and "Megatrony" than the actual sculpt. While I'm find with either, a new sculpt to better reflect that sketch would be a supreme added bonus.

The colored sketch is just beautiful. That's exactly how I want him colored. There's just no better way to do it.

 

This thing is pure awesomeness.

I hope they change the links on the energy mace to be stiff (and therefore poseable). Otherwise, it will just hang limp like the Mega PVC version did.

Definitely buying this one.

that megatron gun looks pretty real to me .. i don't think theres a airsoft pellet gun that looks like a walther p-38 unless im wrong..

 

It's Prime without his trailer all over again.

 

IMHO Prime without his trailer was worse.

I can do without a silencer and stock.

 

Maybe they ditched the idea of providing a silencer & stock since it makes NO technical sense to have one for a Walther P-38 pistol in the first place. Outside of some bad 70's TV show that did it, WWII pistols never had accessories like that, especially since they would provide no advantage whatsoever to the shooter.

However, since we do get the scope/fusion cannon, I wouldn't nitpick if they included the stock & silencer as well... if for nothing else than just to keep it complete and in line with the original Megatron design.

 

The color mock up makes me happy. I assume the Decepticon symbol will be a sticker or somehting. It does suck not to have the silencer and stock but what ya gonna do.

 

Cool!! In one of the pics it shows a briefcase. That would be sick if they would use that as a package.
