Wow, Mudflap has some serious mis-transformation going on. I'm dissapointed that so much is silver, since I know that will mostly be replaced with grey-silver plastic. Mudflap himself is alright I guess. I really just want the pack for Simmons, but at $50 Canadian that's not really good in any way. :/
Would have made more sense to package Seymour with Skids, since that is who he drove in the movie. Major oversight by Hasbro. Major...
That would've pushed Mikaela back a long way. Besides, it's not like Simmons can't still drive Skids...
That's probably not it at all. Skids in the line so far has been the "popular" twin, so it makes sense to package him with a starring character like Mikaela. Simmons on the other hand was a minor character.
I'd like to have this, the Chromia is a good bonus! I don't like Simmon though, not just the toy but the character...
I'll be picking this up mainly for Simmons, Arcee and to show supoport for the HA line, but it won't be a top priority seeing as how similar it is to Skids whom I already own. That would actually be a good question to ask Hasbro in the Q&A(goes to post in the thread).
It would be nice to see a HA Ironhide with Capt. Lennox and the first "Flare-Up" toy. If I remember correctly....the sisters drove off with Ironhide in the desert sequence to cover Sam & Mikaela. In addition....it was Lennox's order. If only Hasbro had asked someone who saw the movie "what color is the bike that propels itself on 2 wheels?" we wouldn't have the mix-up of colors. One could hope
Oh dang, finally! He'll go awesome with Skids! The thing is, that now we see what the problem is with the extra bike femmes, this one is Arcee NOT Chromia! They freakin switched them! WTH?!? Oh well, doesn't matter with the deluxe ones around really. Another thing is, we saw him and Simmons with what appeared to be Flareup/Moonracer/Elita 1 in the first pic without color.
I don't think ironhide is small enough in bot mode to feature a bike. I assume that's why the twins come with bikes.
What's really cool is that the design of his feet are very accurate in that they incorporate a minuscule amount of particular detail that portrays an actual part of his CGI model... His tires being in the middle of his feet basically. What's really odd is that the illusion stops there, thus rendering it pointless. The rest of his feet do not continue the aesthetic, nor do his actual wheels come into play! Could just be mistransformed though?
great a red chromia and now a blue arcee something tells me flareup/elita 1 isnt coming out since: a/ there is no 3rd twin b/ hasbro can never get a properly coloured sister
A reason why Mudflap's arms look so skinny and long is due to the fact that the seats aren't swiveled up to become his 'arm guard'. Though, it may still look long and skinny with the seat swiveled up... Oh well! Chromia/Arcee looks awesome! Scarves FTW! Will be bought on sight!
