    I think his alt mode is the cardboard box that Buzz was sold in both for real (as an actual toy some years ago) and in the context of the 1st movie.

    His space ship was the box - it's possible the ship design is also used on the cartoon.

    Anyway if you watch the movie that's his cardboard box.

    I love Mickey TF and getting Donald TF though I am not a fan of these characters, while I love Toy Story movies, but don't feel the appeal of this toy.
    But who cares about me. This Buzz would be loved by kids. I wish my son was still 5, he'd have wanted it so much :)

    Took the words out of my mouth. I agree Buzz doesn't have the same Transformers vibe that Mickey and Donald have going on for them, but I think perhaps due to that he ended up looking the best of the three.

    I'm definitely going to get it.

    Meh. I've also been around since 1985, and I'm looking forward to Buzz, Yoda, PCC, WFC, Generations and more ROTF figures this year. Isn't it great that Hasbro and TakaraTOMY are basically producing toys for all kind of tastes? The problem is when you like most of the stuff, 'cause it gets expensive.

    Wasn't familiar with those two transforming Buzz toys. I have another (one who's made of mostly clear plastic) that transforms differently. The ship mode is very different than the ones you have, and it has less of an odd shape IMO. I believe I found mine on Disney World, so I guess they could be (Buzz and Zurg) exclusives of some sort. The Zurg figure is pretty crappy though.
