ah, so this guy comes with the voyager cybertronian megs both battle damaged as a preview pack, so that could be out earlier than wave 1.

I don't get it...it looks nothing like the protype of earth mode. It doesn't even look like the fire truck either. I think that's cybertron battle damage...So far, that axe weapon makes me want go out and buy...

No it's just a Deluxe version of Earth mode.

Hmm....not the most love I have for an animated figure, since the voyager impresses me more and the battle damage looks pretty lame, but on the other hand that axe is pretty awesome...

    IIIIiiiiiiii like it.

Of course, I would REALLY like to see a version without the battle damage show up sooner or later.

Unless I've missed a recent confirmation, we don't know that. AFAIK, all that we know for sure about the 2-pack is that it's a Voyager + a Deluxe, and that it was originally planned for release in Januaryish, 2 months or so before the (again, originally) Marchish full-line release.

Granted, I think it's quite likely that this and the battle-damaged Cyb Megs are what's in the 2-pack.

Quite surprised that this is, apparently, a totally new mold. (I just don't see any way it could be just a remold of Cyb OP.) I can guarantee Hasbro my purchase. :thumb

No, he doesn't get bigger in the show (at least not like that). Both deluxe and voyager versions represent one representation of one Prime, they're just different toys.

It's the same thing with movie Prime. (Two different toys for the same guy)

Awsome in both modes. But the battle damage ruins it.

There was a pic of that same toy (same battle damage and bigass axe and all) in the club magazine a few months ago and it was discussed already, so you only did not see it coming because you were looking the other way at that moment.

Also it *is* a retool of the cybertronian one, though an extensive one.

To be fair, all of those photos were taken down very quickly, leaving little for discussion at the time.

    Yeah.. it IS pretty nice...

No! Must remain resolute... must hold out for the voyager and his battleaxe o' doom.

Other than the battledamage, his vehicle mode looks pretty slick. I can't wait to see what the voyager looks like painted up.

Hrm, I wonder if this means that Megatron in the club mag IS a different mold than the standard voyager. Now that we're seeing more detailed pics of the voyager fig, I remember the battle damage Megs in the club mag had a different arm cannon. Too bad I can't find that issue or I'd double check.

Yes, but its existence was still known.

We aren't getting them in the current planned waves. Doesn't mean we can't later if this has enough momentum. I'm also curious if we'll see any recolors or not. I personally want a Scourge Prime out of this, and a black and white prowl.

Huh, I wasn't aware that there WAS a deluxe class Earth Mode Prime. Thanks for the info, folks.
