    Looks cool.

Not sure I did the more orangy color, but it's not like I can afford this anyway. I really like using the crane-arm as huge gun. It also is a throwback in a loose sense to the Japanese tradition of having Targetmaster pug directly onto the arm rather than being hand-held.

Yeah, even Stepper, as nice as he is, way too expensive to purchase. I just don't get how/why the prices are too damn high. $150 for this? Geezuz.

Agreed on this one. Although I think $75 is still pricey. $50 and then we can talk.

Call the high price the hoops non-Japanese retailers have to jump through to get it. I'm getting mine for under $100 but figure you have to buy the book, find a resident of Japan to mail in the coupon, wait 6 months for figure to come in, receive the figure, pack them up and mail them to the US.

The blog states Sparks' colour is different from the final product. Interesting that at the end of the blog and on their Twitter Million Publishing is adamant that United Artfire is only available from them. They might mean "in Japan" though.

We do know that the "regular" United Artfire will be different. So they are right in saying that to get this Artfire you have to go through them.

And if you were implying that that statement isn't true because you can get Artfire from other retailers - it still holds true. Anyone you get Artfire from, like BBTS, etc, is just middle-manning them from MP.

I am not implying anything :)  I just thought it was interesting that Million Publishing was so quick to respond to the news of UN-32.

Yeah as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm willing to bet this is the only way to get him (normally) in Japan.

That the UN-32 one will be for Asian countries outside of Japan (like RotF Buster Optimus & Jetfire and Darkwing Optimus, etc) or the e-Hobby exclusives that are available not from e-Hobby outside of Japan.

The problem is it doesn't look like we'll see another Stepper/Ricochet anytime soon. I fully expect to drop a boat load for him this summer.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, it does feel a littel defensive when you look at it like that, lol.

Also, that is a damn funny sig.

Looks good...the red's more orangey than I'd prefer, but I still like it.

If the red on the United Artfire ends up more red than the Million Publishing version, I will be a little annoyed.

Million Publishing's remark about their exclusive is also something I found interesting.

They're probably none too please either, since they are probably losing out on orders as we speak.

Yeah I'm sorry I wasn't very clear to begin with. I always just type what I think without considering how it sounds. And glad you find my sig funny :)

I'm interested to see further development on this :popcorn

So am I :)  It's definitely something interesting. I wonder how this will affect MP and Takara's relationship going into the future.

Also, it just occurred to me, how long does it take to produce a figure anyway? Because it does seem like both figures will be coming out in December or so, meaning if ever, Takara is just going to begin producing this, if MP's production timeline is anything to go by.

I imagine the turnaround on a redeco can be quite fast. Within a year from concept to product, I'd bet. I do believe it takes about 2 years for them to make a new figure from scratch and get it on the shelves.
