Is it just me or does Perceptor look a bit Frankenstein-ish. He's got that huge noggin. And his face, also looks a bit girly. Wheeljack looks awesome though with his wise old beard. haha

Please Hasbro, make these into toys.

Hmmm... I also thought hard about it, and HE comes to mind... though he doesn't have a faceplate.

Mind you, Rad is an Aerospace Engineer. Sound like the kind of bot you'd want around when creating flying Autobots...

Wheeljack and Percy rock (Btw, Wyatt confirmed they are NOT based on Mythbusters... he never noticed that. Just like Lockdown is NOT based on Death's Head... but all three are pretty similar to these guys).

I like Perceptor's built-in head magnifying glasses - something like this was used by Nightbeat in IDW.

Nice, but as always I will wait for the tade to read these things. Just to expensive picking up each individual issue anymore.

So wait, Do the first lines they say essentially mean that the bots they are using are Sunstreaker and Sideswipe? Brother from the same protoform mold?

    I'm confused.

No, they say it is rare for twinsto occur but it does happen, Jetfire and Jetstorm are not sideswipe and sunstreaker (unless we find out otherwise anyhow)

I thought it was Sunny & Swipe as well, but taking a closer look at the 2nd panel, what looks to be Sunny's 'ears' actually turns out to be two panels attached to the chair, holding the robot's head in place.

  also he's probably got like 3 more seasons of characters drawn up so if anyone has an idea it's probably already covered

I'd say if they never do a Springer it's cuz of this "theory" people keep talking about that Autobots don't fly (even though there's this guy named Omega Supreme already floating around) I'm not saying it's not true I just can't recall what the source of the "theory" is

I know they haven't said it yet but I do agree that is what it sounds like could be where they got these guys from

Oh and I'm wondering why it's ok to post this scanned comic page in here. Maybe it's cool unless someone official says to take it down?

The source of the "theory" is Derrick Wyatt:

"I would LOVE to have Springer in Animated. I have even done sketches of him in the style. But there are some problems reconciling him being a triple changer and a flying Autobot. Blitzwing's instability obviously stems from his triple changing ability. And Autobots just don't fly in TFA. So, I don't know."

That seems fairly conclusive. :)  Yeah, I know we've had Omega Supreme and the forthcoming Jet twins, but those characters have all quite clearly been specified as Autobot special projects or secret weapons; I think the crux of the matter here is that the Springer character was always just "one of the guys", but his status as a triple-changing flyer would make him a real freak in the Animated status quo, so that's why we're not seeing him...

I second the notion that Hasbro make Wheejack and Perceptor for the Animated line (or Universe, I'm not too picky)
