Whoa that looks pretty cool. Liking the little site navigator up on the top. I'll have to check out the "ISH talkers" too.

(you should redo Toyark a little more like that, that layout hurts my eyes so much with the right side bars that i quit going)

    1. What's an "ish?" Is that shorthand for "issue?" Or is it a reference to the slang word ending meaning "sort of," i.e. calling a strong female "Buffyish?" I mean, what the hell?

    2. Grammar is your friend. For example:

(Oh yeah, and clicking on her gave me a 404, then a message saying it was "probably my fault." I am not amused.)

I believe in titles, any non-verbs/nouns (lacking on the correct terminology of words like "of, the, or, and, etc.") are lowercase. Attack of the Show is correct versus Attack Of The Show. Words like and, the, of, are all lowercase except for the beginning of the phrase. Example: The House of the Dead.

You are correct, however, with your versus you're.

The Munn link works. If you got a 404, it's on your end.

I also believe that "Ish" is really supposed to be shit backwards with no t. Judging by some of the ways "ish" is presented on the site; ex. "ish talking".

    On topic...

I enjoyed the content on the site. I'm looking forward to seeing where it'll go once it gets off its feet. I'm really looking forward to the Camaro review.

I was using red text to highlight errors - so in the case of AotS, I highlighted "of" and "the" because they shouldn't be capitalized, just as you said. As for the terminology, "of" is a conjunction. "The" is a definite article. "A" and "an" are indefinite articles.

ah, i see. I must have, for whatever reason, glossed over the original meaning of the red highlights after seeing "your".

well, after returning to the terminology of grammar after 7 years of absence of a real english class, we now return to our regularly scheduled program. Ish Talking!

Not a fan of IshTalkers. It's like a really, really, really low rent maxim.

And the fact I typed "o fishtalkers" instead of "of ishtalkers" I'm now probably going to continue to call it fishtalkers.

Fishtalkers! That's awesome. Is it a site for people to talk about fish, or for people who talk to fish? Or maybe it's a website for fish to talk about humans? Ooh, I know! It's a website for dolphins! Dolphins love to eat fish! (So long and thanks for all the fish!)

Seriously, though, Chrono Grimlock has a point. I almost never hit the ToyArk website. If I do, it's to look at the Marvel news, but I get that information elsewhere already via RSS feed from MarvelousNews.com and SuperHeroHype.com. I don't hit the message boards there because I feel like I have enough message boards to read as is. And it's not like people hang on my every word and post, anyway. (My recent diary on a political website got all of five comments. Woo. I'm popular.)

Best of luck with the site, of course - but I doubt I'll be stopping by much.

There's a 1,000 other sites that do media/tek/gaming/politics far better but I know you guys just want a piece of the pie so I wish you luck on this new venture.

lol. No offense, but this has to be the most stupid reason ever to *not* do something. Do you think those 1000 sites started off being the best or do you think they had to find their groove?

But they have all been around for a long time and are very established with a set readership. It's going to be almost impossible to crack into that market and get viewers that aren't just siphoned off from tfw/hisstank/toyark. What does Ishtalkers have to offer that they don't?
