That's a resin proto though, so the stands are there to ensure it doesn't collapse.

Given that the first Armada Hot Shot design was cancelled, I'm pretty sure TFs don't usually pass into the manufacturing stage if it can't stand under its own power. So I'm sure Takara will use ratcheting joints in his arms, which should be more than enough to handle the weight of his scope, unless it's made out of depleted uranium or something.

I'm not sure I care that there's no mention of stock extensions yet. It isn't going to spend much time in gun mode on my shelf, so I'd just have more stuff to store somewhere.

 

Ya as much as I'd like stock/barrel extension, like a trailer for 20th OP, I cant remember the last time my 20th OP was in truck mode, so it really would be a waste of money and space for me.

I like that Megatron will come with the Energy Mace though.
