This is a must buy for me! I like it more than the previous mold. I just would like a happier face for this Prime, he looks so sad.

 

Looks okay, but I want a BIG PRIME to stand next to Leader MEGATRON on my shelf.

 

meh, i think the leader movie prime is too chunky and wonky. the voyager looks a lot more like the actual movie character.

 

Anyone notice the differences between the 2 put on ebay? One has more silver in the eye parts, and it looks better. The other barely has any and makes the eyes look huge. I wonder if anyone got a fully deco'd one?

Nontheless, wow I am impressed by what I've seen. The thigh swivel is amazing, its a nifty way to disguise it without "breaking" the sculpt. This is just one bad arse Prime. I like how it has the g1 look combined with the movie look, that sets it apart from the leader prime and with that said, I have reason to buy both. Leader Prime for movie accuracy, voyager Prime for bad assery. Sounds like the deluxe Prime will be fun too. I hope the deluxe starscream turns out well too.

Wonder if there is 2 missle launchers on Prime or just 1?

I plan on getting both sizes, I plan on using the Vyager size to dispay with all the movie toys, they kinda fit into scale with the other and im going to display the leader class on there own on my desk or something. I think both Primes are worth getting goona be cool/fun to compare the difference between them.

 

I have to get me one of those!!! XD Seriously, it's a great toy.

Is it just me or do the autobots from the movie look more like they are pulled more from their g2 forms like laser prime and gobots iron hide?

 

I was thinking the same thing. Movie Prime = Laser Convoy.

 

It looks to me like they pulled some of the design elements from the RID line.

just some of the general asthetics, like prowl or xbrawn, Maybe it's just me, even prime to some degree. I'm not saying that they're direct copies, just a few elements in there remind me of them. Or I could just be mental!  

 

I think I see what you mean. I can't really place it, but I asked myself: "If this figure was in any line except for the movie one, what one would it be in?" I got the same anwer as you, RiD. Don't know why but they do seem kinda similar...

 

I think that prowl and xbrawn really illustrate my point. But, yeah, it's hard to say why. Just kinda need to squint your eyes a bit. hope i'm not gettin this thread too off topic!  

 

Don't worry about it man, pretty much everybody who was going to post here already has, it's dying anyway. I'm gonna add you as a buddy though since you seem cool.

I really do hope this line does well. And I really hope they do extra characters that aren't in the movie, but in some of the other media that's gonna hit us like a deluge.
