TF Movie Ultimate: A new masterpiece figure perhaps or just another repaint of 20th Prime (with trailer perhaps)?

Looks like the authentic action figures may be all we get that's movie-accurate at a reasonable price. I wonde rif the Ultimate is just one figure or maybe two or three...

what's the betting the legends figures will be more repaints...

    A. No way would we get a 20th OP repaint plus trailer for only $80.
    B. No way would they try to pass a 20th OP repaint off as '07 Movie OP. (I'd hope, at least.)

I'm thinking that "authentic action figures" means Action Masters of movie TFs.

    In other news:

    Fill my eyes...
    with that Robovision.
    No disguise...
    for that Robovision.

    :D

Anywho, our wallets are going to hate us in about 6-7 months.

I would think the authentic action figure might be a human character, spike or one of the military characters, but what do I know

If that Ultimate figure is a (mostly) movie accurate, transforming Bublebee I'll be a happy camper. In fact, it may be the only movie toy I buy aside from the protoforms and Blackout.

Anybody wanna wager that the Ultimate figures are going to be SS and Blackout respectively? Considering how much more complex their prototypes are compared to everything else we've seen it's a good possibility.

No way Jose. Those Starscream and Blackout molds weren't anything close to $80. They are what I would expect from a $20 - $30 figure.

    True.

Still, the difference in quality between the larger molds and the deluxes is startling. Not that I'm arguing, mind; I think your prediction of $20 - $30 is about right. Especially since they're going to be popular with the kiddies, and I doubt many parents will want to shell out eighty bucks a piece for them.

Which means I can continue hoping for my movie accurate Bumblebee... Or Barricade... Or both.

Agree completely. The quality/complexity of the figures we saw on ebay this week were quite disappointing. I really hope to see some "collector" incarnations of all characters, ranging from $30 for the cars (extra 10 over Alternators for the increased complexity), up to $80 for the bigger bots.

The $80 Ultimate thing...that's gotta be a big super deluxe Prime. They wouldn't risk an $80 price on anyone else, except maybe(and that's a big maybe)Megatron.

You guys can go ahead and flame me for my n00btastic post.
    Here goes.

I don't know how to read the numbers.
For instance, there is only one number for the $10 action figures, but there is obviously going to be more than one figure.
So, could there possibly be more than one $80 figure?
I realize this is highly unlikely, but is it possible?

I have some high hopes for this thing, whatever it is.
July seems just right around the corner.
My birthday is in July. :p

Robovision Optimus will be a pair of Michael Bay-approved goggles that make everything look like it has a flame paintjob :ev:  :ev:  :ev:

I hope this comment doesn't constitute as "flamebaiting" :lolol
